How to unlock the Attack of the Counter 10 achievement in Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice - Definitive Guide

Choose two characters with base counter (the red crossed swords in the status menu) of 3. Use the class world to increase this value twice for each character (55000 mana each), then equip each of them with a fist-type weapon (which will add 2 to counter). Finally, level a cheerleader to where she learns Counter Attack up and upgrade this skill at the evilties vendor twice. Equip the two fighters such that they won't be able to kill each other easily (high Def, low Atk/Spd) or find a stage with invincibility panels. Use counter attack up on them, which will raise counter to a max of 9. Have them attack each other. It may take awhile for you to get 10 counters, just be patient. Heal the characters as necessary. Consider getting this trophy while getting Combo No. 255.

Alternatively, if you want to, you can buy DLC character Zetta, whose base counter is 9, then go into the class world and have him fight his own dropout. Another DLC character, Revya, has an evilty that gives a 100% chance to counter if HP is below 25%. The usefulness of this should be obvious.

To get this trophy, your character needs to make ten counterattacks in a row. The easiest way to get this trophy is by using the Revya's Second Attack Win skill. It gives a 100% chance of counterattack if the character has less than 25% health. Thus, if you give two characters this skill, they will pummel each other until I kill one and easily score the required number of counterattacks. If you don't have Revya, then you can try to get this trophy by using characters with a high level of their Counter Attack skill or enhancing it by using Cheerleaders Counter Attack or appropriate magic.

To get this trophy, you need 2 characters to have a counterattack - 9. What is needed for this:

1. Take 2 heroes with a counterattack of at least 3;

2. Equip them with a Fist weapon, which will increase the counterattack by 2;

3. Teach (or transfer through Class world) evility Retribution - this will increase the counterattack by 2;

4. Increase counterattack by 2 for both heroes via Class world;

5. Create a Cheerleader and learn the Counter Attack Up magic - this will allow you to increase your counterattack by 2 in a battle for 3 turns.

To save time, you can steal two Tennis Rackets from Sports Pirates, which increase the counterattack by 5, and give each hero the evility Second Attack Win from Revya's.

And the most important rule is that one hero hits, the other only counterattacks, but does not strike. If two heroes attack each other, the chain of counterattacks will always end at 8-9 hits.
