Level 2:Andy's Neighborhood
One of the few Trophies that may not come naturally. RC Car can be found in the center of the area immediately after leaving the beginning first fenced in area with the rogue lawn mower. The game will suggest you need the Rocket Boots unlocked on a later level to win, but for this trophy you specifically can't use them.
To win, run in front of or hit Circle to spin attack RC Car, causing him to stop momentarily. The hit detection is a bit strange, so deliberately running in front of him seems to be the most consistent.
I recommend you wait for RC Car at the sections where you need to jump over cement or avoid water. The car moves faster than you can jump, so this is the most likely spot where he'd pass you. The enemies may also pose trouble around the tree. Prepare a fully charged laser attack (Square) to dispatch an enemy in one shot.
If RC Car passes you, winning seems to be impossible or close to it. You could however take defeated or the Rewind feature accessed with the PS5s menu button. Alternatively you can reset the race by leaving the immediate area (head to the pool or the starting zone).
