How to unlock the Ultimate Cosmic Power! achievement in Disney Universe - Definitive Guide

I suggest leaving this one till last, you need to unlock every costume (45) then upgrade said costume(s) which takes 3 stars.

The stars are found in every level most of the time in a chest that needs a gold key or they can be out in the open, it's hard to miss a little blue star.

To unlock each costume you need to play every world twice then buy them from the costume shop they sell from 300-800 gold.

After you have finished the game gotten gold on every level and have every costume but still need to upgrade a few, here's what I did.

Chose a costume, picked the first pirates level, get the upgrade, finish the level and restart.

Any tips on getting the gold on every level? I've managed to get a few but can't work out what Im doing different now... do you know if it's easier to get gold in co-op?

You need to have all the collectables, upgrades, the arcade mini game (you don't need to win but it helps) as much gold coins as you can find, both costumes in each level (play said level twice) and you can only die 3 times. I stuck by those rules and got every gold. As for CO-OP I'm not sure I didn't try it.

I died 6 times and still got a gold, don't worry about deaths too much.
My bare minimum to get was all 3 stars, at least 2 arcade challenges and at least 1600 gold.
Limit yourself to 4 deaths if you have too (I don't know if the 6 were a fluke)

I got the achievement to pop without completing the Nightmare Before Christmas characters. Looks like they weren't required. It also helps if you play multiplayer. With four players you can get three stars per board and fully upgrade a character.

Deaths don't matter a jot as long as you have at least 1600 gold, and at least 5/6 stars and challenges. Plus all 9 collectables.

On the matter of this achievement, if you work on this while doing your 2 playthroughs of the game and redoing levels for Gold grade, you should get over 75% of this achievement done easily. So it's probably not wise to ignore this achievement completely while doing the other achievements.
Just have to hunt out the stars on every single level to upgrade one character fully and make sure you change character at the end of each stage.
Doing this, I had only 10 characters left with 1 star and everyone else was on 4 stars. Even if you miss a star or two on certain stages, you can always go back to finish these characters later but just start with a fresh character each stage if possible.

I'd like to add something: as Flopsy86 said, some characters may be with 1 star left. If it happens to be more than 1, then you can do the following:

- start the Pirates' level normally with one of the 3-star-characters;
- Finish the first level part. You'll see the saving icon. Start the second level, let it save and launch the guide button and then the dashboard.

I'll save that 'lonely' star to the character and when you reload the game you can choose Pirate's again and continue with another 3-star-character for the second level.

The effect when launching the dashboard is different than pausing and quitting (as this won't save the star).

@Alacant7: You don't have to dash out. As the 2nd level begins, you'll see the auto-save icon appear. Immediately after that you can pause and quit out. It will save the upgrade you just got.

Hey all, just thought I'd add that based on time it is actually quicker to do the first and second stage quick then when the third starts quit and restart the first for the final star for each character.
This method was averaging around 6 minutes where as just doing the first took around 7 minutes, I know its not much of a difference but it will save you having to play this more than necessary.

This is the grinder trophy of the game. You must upgrade every costume to the MAX level of 4. Each time you collect a star found in each area, the costume that you are currently using will level up by one. It is possible to fully upgrade a costume by the end of a location before moving on to the next, Once this is done, switch to another level 1 costume and repeat this process. By the end of your second playthrough, use your money to unlock the rest of the costumes, then start the first Pirates level, collect the star, reach the exit, then quit and repeat. This process will take a while, but nothing that should be too bad.

This one can be a bit of a grind. It requires you to collect three blue stars for every costume in the game.
There are usually a couple of blue stars throughout each location, so missing one shouldn’t be too much of a problem. Once you max out a character, pick a new one and keep going.
Note: DLC Costumes do not count towards this achievement.

To quickly upgrade your costumes, launch the very first location in the world of pirates of the Caribbean - “London”, take the key, open the chest with the star, shoot from the cannon and that’s it, the level is completed. As soon as the second level starts, wait for the save and exit to the main menu. Then launch this location again, you will be prompted to start by saving, click start again and go through this level again. For each suit, repeat this operation 3 times. This is the shortest level in the game, completed in 2-3 minutes.

I advise that as soon as you have improved 1 suit, move on to 2 and your
