How to unlock the Guitar and DJ achievement in DJ Hero - Definitive Guide

This achievement requires a guitar controller and a turntable controller.

If you have one of each controller, this will be easy. Once you unlock the "Thrashed & Mashed" setlist, you will unlock Guitar DJ mixes. Select "Custom Guitar Setlist" and play any of the available mixes. Make sure both a guitar and turntable controller are being used. Since you can't fail, you can simply let the mix play to the end without doing anything. Once the mix finishes, the achievement will unlock.

awesome...unless u dont have a guitar controller.. go to ur local game stop buy a used guitar controller get ur achievments and return for a full refund. or trade... remember 7 day return policy they r pretty cool if you tell them its just for an achievment.

If anyone wants to know, this achievement and The Power of Two are obtainable online if you don't have a guitar for it.

A very simple trophy but expensive. You will need one Dj hero controller and a guitar/band hero guitar. Every guitar that works in your PS3 should work for this trophy. Make sure you have the two receivers plugged into the USB slots and turn on both instruments then go to "Guitar setlist" and select one song. There are only a few songs for guitar and DJs but you only need 1.

There are two setlist which you can do on Guitar and Dj which are:

- Thrashed and Mashed
- Born to Rock

It is not necessary to buy an additional guitar, since you can get this achievement in multiplayer if your opponent/friend plays the guitar.
