How to unlock the Supporting Act achievement in DJ Hero - Definitive Guide

To get this one you must join the games, if you create the online match it won't count towards the 3. You must also complete the entire setlist.
So select 'Quick Match' or 'Custom Match' in the Xbox live section and hope the person you find only wants 1 mix.

Note that choosing "Quick Match" qualifies your game toward this Achievement.

Does a "game" count if the other player dropped out turning a song?

Say, if a friend of mine makes a quicklist of three mixes, and I join, will each song count towards three completed online games, or does the entire quicklist only count as one?

Yes, but the achievements counts setlists, not songs. So a 5 song setlist is only 1 towards the achievement so less songs are better.

Just thought I'd add that you can still get the achievement by clicking 'Replay Setlist' after you finish one, to start it again, instead of having to back out to the menu and joining 2 more games (assuming you are playing with a friend and they agree to the rematch).

UNOBTAINABLE, DUE TO SERVER CLOSURE

Go to the "Online" feature at the left of the menu. Then you must search for online players. If you do not find players change the difficulty level you are playing in and try again. "Quick play" isn't really good at finding players so if you go to the other "Quick play" at the left of the menu there are more chances of finding someone. Once you are with someone mix a setlist. Do this 3 times and the trophy should pop up.

You do not need to win these matches but if you do it will count forward to the "Win Online" trophy.

You can use the boosting herehere if you really can't find anyone.
