Unlocked for me after finishing E4M7, not E4M8. I had finished the Secret Mission though so i'm not sure if that factored in.

I think finishing the secret missions actually counts as an extra meaning it will pop on E4M7. I have seen multiple people say the exact same thing as you. I entered the levels but never actually finished them I would just reload my previous save and had all my level based achievements pop as they normally would have.

If I turn on cheats, will this achievement still unlock? I've never finished this episode since it came out in the 90s. I can't express my hatred for this episode enough.

i finished this campaign multiple times (achievement stuck on 87%). finishing it with the secret level and without. this achievement glitched for anyone else? wont unlock for me and i don't use cheats just played on easier difficulties. its weird coz all the other campaign cheevos popped except this one :(

Did you do E4M2 before starting this for the secret level? You may need to go from New Game and play through the missions from start to finish. Hope this helps!

thanks for the quick reply :) i have done all levels in this chapter from new game after i have tried level select and the tried to finish the chapter again unfortunately i think it is glitched. don't know what to do next maybe just skip to doom 2.

Nevermind. Went to level select and played "fear" and it unlocked

to confirm. i have completed this campaign multiple times on different difficulties. also have done all levels on level select. 2021 update- i was informed that it is possible to delete the save (locally and from the cloud) in order to retry the chapter/achievement. i will do this some time down the line. i hope this information helps.

I can confirm that removing your savegame 'anywhere' (cloud and xbox) and playing that episode again, will unlock this achievement. I was also stuck with this one. Saw your comment and tried . It worked!! Thanks.
