How to unlock the Legend-Marked achievement in Dragon Age: Inquisition - Definitive Guide

You need 5 influence points with the Stone-Bear Hold Avvar to earn this achievement. You earn these points through various sidequests and operations.

Quests - 1 Influence Point Each
- Hakkon's Trials
- A Father's Name (Must give offering to huntmaster)
- In Exile
- Up And Away
- Ameridan's End (Story Related, comes after the cutscene).
- It Remains To Be Seen

Note for "Up And Away" - If you do ask her to include you in her prayers, and you stay and watch, you get +1 to a relevant stat. Not relevant for the achievement but nice to know.

Hakkon's Trials and A Father's Name are started in the Avvar Hold.
Up And Away is started at the dock where you ask for a boat for the 'story'.
In Exile is started just to the South of Ridgeline Camp (West side of map).
It Remains To Be Seen is started by finding one of the 5 hanging skulls in the swamp where they're holding Storvacker. The others are then revealed on the map.

There are also 2 War Table Operations you can do to gain 1 influence each. The rewards are the same no matter which advisor you complete them with.

Send Relics of Tyrdda Bright-Axe
This requires that you have already completed the operation Locate Weapon of Tyrdda Bright-Axe, which in turn requires that you've found the landmarks noted here http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Landmarks_in_the_Hinterlands

Send Skywatcher to Stone-Bear Hold (Glitched on 360? No influence point)
Skywatcher is the friendly Avvar you find in the Fallow Mire. You can recruit him after you kill the Avvar chief in the area. I'm fairly certain if you don't let him join you, he'll just stand there until you come back, but as there's the other operation he's not necessary.

Note from TheIcemanCometh - Influence points from operations may disappear(?).

Once you have 5 influence, and have finished the 'story' of the DLC, head back to the chief. Once you turn the quest in the achievement unlocks.

As many people have added info now, I'd just like to give a general thanks to the comments.
If there's anything else you feel isn't right or need additional help feel free to comment.
Negative voters comment.

It's worth noting that once you have 5/5 Approvals…you need to finish the main quest line and slay the Ice Dragon, THEN head back to the Hold and talk to the Chief.

I can confirm completing In Exile by making her an agent still gives a point but im not getting one for giving the offering in A Fathers Name to the son...only when I give it to the hunter. Dunno if im supposed to or not but ive done it twice both ways and only get a point from the hunter.

I believe the quest ends when you turn it in to the hunter, but when you turn it in to the son you still have to go speak with the lady in the rites chamber or whatever you want to call it.

I am sorry, but I have to vote negative on this one until we know for sure. I turned in A Father's Name to Finn and did not get credit, even though I talked to the "lady tending bodies" afterwards.

FYI. Also, I seem to have lost the two points I earned for doing the two quests on the War Table.

Ok, I've done some additional testing, and I can verify that it does matter which person you turn A Father's Name in to. You get the +2 Power no matter who you turn it in to, as well as credit for completing the quest, but you get the +1 to Influence only if you turn the quest in to the Huntmaster.

I didn't get anything from doing the Storvacker Caged quest.

What was the outcome of the quest? Did the bear die? I wasn't sure if it could.

Didn't die, if it did it was after the quest completed.

I changed my vote to + after the guide updates. Not necessarily for the quest points disappearing, but because of A Father's Name. I saved right before turning it in (the second time - had to reload save and kill the spider and lizard thingie) and picked each path for the test. I do have the five points required now - just need to finish the DLC for the achievement. Thanks for the updates.

Hmm you're right FallOut, I'll try to find out where I got that missing point.

Found the missing point, came from the story mission Ameridan's End.

Hakkon's Trials is unobtainable for me. That Sword master guy says 1 word and there's no further discussion and I have the requisition to continue the quest.

Others have had problems with the Operation influence points so you may also be experiencing them.
The only thing I can think of is to reload an earlier save if possible.

Interesting. The table operation didn't count of the 360 version, but did on the One version. Perhaps the problem is simply a bug on the 360 platform? I dunno.

I haven't done any of the missions listed here and I have 2 points already, all I;ve done since getting the mission are "storvacker caged", and "it remains to be seen" (which definitely adds a point if you go to read the runes). It remains to be seen is started by finding one of five collectable outside the cave where storvacker is found. This is on the 360 version.

It remains to be seen does give a point, but I didn't even know about it until after I finished the DLC. Storvacker Caged definitely does not give any influence.

I've added It Remains To Be Seen to the guide though I don't know where your other point came from.

The skulls do not appear on the map. Just a purple circle appears for the area to search. I've been around it 3 times now, covering every inch and only 3 are showing up, which I collected.

FYI, I can confirm that the stat boost for observing the prayer is relevant to the class. +1 Dexterity for a rogue.

Well then there has to be some other quest that gives you an influence then. I'll have to see if I have any close saves. Because I had 4 influence after my 4 listed quests even though I gave the pelts to the kid. I'll have to try and go see.
I'm going to guess it's the quest where you find the kid thats climbing the cliffs but I'll try to check to be sure.

Near the beginning of this DLC, you will be tasked with speaking to the Avvar leader, Svarah Sun-Hair. She is located in the middle of the Hold, just inside the mountain off to the side of where there are Avvar practicing either their climbing or combat prowess. Head in to her, follow the dialogue, and trigger the quest Guests of the Hold; this will provide you a tracker of 0/5 towards impressing them. The list of potential quests to get 5/5 are as listed below:

A Father's Name - Obtained from the young man beside the Master of the Hunt in the Hold, directly up the hill from Svarah Sun-Hair and before the Arena Master. At the quest's end, you must choose to give the offering to the Master of the Hunt and not the son in order to receive approval.

In Exile - On the western side of the zone is an Avvar who is, you guessed it: in exile. Speak with her to obtain the quest.

Up and Away - Obtained from an NPC in the fisherman's village just south of the Hold after receiving Guests of the Hold.

Hakkon's Trials - Obtained from the Arena Master just up the path from the Master of the Hunt and the NPC who gives you A Father's Name.

On top of these, there are also two War Table missions that can provide approval ratings:

Send Relics of Tyrdda Bright-Axe - If you have already found all the landmarks in the Hinterlands and completed the War Table mission Locate Weapon of Tyrdda Bright-Axe, this will be available after receiving Guests of the Hold.

Send Skywatcher to Stone-Bear Hold - At the end of the Fallow Mire questline, Skywatcher will be an NPC who can be recruited into the Inquisition and sent to the Hold.

Once you have completed five of the required quests and gotten the 5/5 approval rating, you must complete the DLC and then revisit Svarah Sun-Hair. Progress through the dialogue to unlock the achievement.

This trophy is for the optional Guests of the Hold quest line.

This trophy is NOT missable as far as I can tell. This trophy requires gaining positive influence five separate times with the Avvar clan. There are seven separate quests available that can do this. Of these seven, two of them have the possibility of being locked out of thereby preventing any future Avvar influence gain. However, this leaves five quests that, as far as I can tell, cannot be permanently failed; you either complete them or they just sit there until you do.

This optional quest line cannot be completed until the DLC story-line is complete. You can complete all objectives of the quest, but the NPC won't "complete" the Guests of the Hold quest until that point. The trophy will pop after you have spoken with the quest giver the final time and you see the "Quest Complete" notification.

Details of the Avvar Clan quests can be found below.

Note: Do not forget about the Search ability via !

  • Jaws of Hakkon
Automatic active quest after entering Frostback Basin the first time.

  • Avvar Allies
Automatic active quest that starts after Jaws of Hakkon is complete.

  • Guests of the Hold
Quest becomes available after Avvar Allies is complete.

Given by Thane Svarah Sun-Hair in Stone-Bear Hold. Initially you will see a rock climbing event when you first enter the town. She will be standing opposite from it on a small wooden platform. After that she will be sitting on her throne inside of the small cave next to this area.

  • A Father's Name
Quest becomes available after starting the Guests of the Hold quest.

Given by Gyda Mrydotten in Stone-Bear Hold. Facing outwards from Svarah Sun-Hair's cave, on your left you will see several paths. She is located at the end of the path that goes downwards into another cave area.

This quest can be failed influence-wise. At the end, you must give the quest items to the Master of the Hunt (Huntsman) and not to Finn. Both of these NPCs are located next to each other within Stone-Bear Hold.

  • Hakkon's Trials
Quest becomes available after starting the Guests of the Hold quest.

Given by Trainer Arrken (Arena Master) in Stone-Bear Hold. Facing outwards from Svarah Sun-Hair's cave, on your left you will see several paths. Only one of these paths goes sharply upwards; this is the path you want. You will see the Master of the Hunt halfway up; continue onward to encounter the trainer.

This quest has caused some confusion because you must use a Requisition table to continue the quest. After you talk with Trainer Arrken, go to any Requisition table and make "An Offering for the Arena". It requires 2 Silverite and 2 Everite. Giving this offering to Trainer Arrken will give you more dialog options so that you can enter the arena.

  • In Exile
Quest becomes available after starting the Guests of the Hold quest.

Given by Sigrid Gulsdotten. She is found near or inside a remote cabin that is located south of the Ridgeline camp. You need to use switchback paths to reach her higher location.

While there are two different ways this quest can end, both paths give Avvar influence.

The Augur NPC is located above Svarah Sun-Hair in Stone-Bear Hold. From her cave, head to the right and use the first trail you see on your right side that goes above her cave.

  • It Remains to be Seen
Quest becomes available after starting the Guests of the Hold quest.

There are five enchanted skulls located in the Swamp Kuldsdotten region, which is the purplish area north of theSwampside Camp (to get there easily, run down the river right next to the camp). These skulls are each located within an open hanging pyramidal fixture. The surrounding area is dark and they are located in areas of glowing fire-light. The quest begins when you pick up the first skull. Since there are no quest markers this can be frustrating but my advice is to "look for the light" areas.

  • Up and Away
Quest becomes available after starting the Guests of the Hold quest.

Given by Linna who is located very close to the Fast Travel stone by the Boathouse (south-west of Stone-Bear Hold). This quest does have map markers that are helpful in keeping the quest moving along.

While there are two different ways this quest can end, both paths give Avvar influence.

  • Send Relics of Tyrdda Bright-Axe
This is a War Table mission with two prerequisites: Avvar Allies and War Table: Locate Weapon of Tyrdda Bright-Axe. The first should already have been completed by this point. The prerequisite war table mission only appears once all of the Tyrdda Bright-Axe landmarks have been discovered in the Hinterlands region.

You may choose any adviser you wish as all end with a positive Avvar friendship gain.

  • Send Skywatcher to Stone-Bear Hold
This War Table mission only exists if you invited Skywatcher to join the Inquisition during your Fallow Mire quests from the main game storyline. I think it is possible to deny his entrance into the Inquisition and therefore this War Table quest may not be available/possible.

  • Hakkon Wintersbreath
This is a main storyline quest; there are several prerequisite quests before it. However, I have listed it here as you must complete this quest before you can complete Guests of the Hold. After completing Hakkon Wintersbreath, the next time you speak with Svarah Sun-Hair the dialog will result in the completion of Guests of the Hold
