These three achievements, Grey Warden, Master Warden, and Blight-Queller, are gotten from killing Darkspawn, respectively 100, 500 and 1000. This can theoretically be done in one playthrough, but require some luck and finding random encounters when travelling.
Luckily, the key here is that the achievement description should have an added "Across all playthroughs", as the count will tally up how many you have killed on all your characters. Saving, killing darkspawn, and then reloading to kill the same again will not count.
To see how far along you are, with the back button, find the leftmost book icon and then scroll right to Heroic Accomplishments. On the Party Accomplishments page, look at kills and Darkspawn killed, on all your characters, for the grand total.
If you are close to 1000 but have finnished the game, the easiest would probably be to start a new Dwarf Noble story for some quick access to more Darkspawn, or play through to Ostagar and then do the Korcari Wilds and Tower.

Many seem to experience a very glitchy achievement regarding this, unlocking at different times and amount all over. I got this around 100 myself, but before I knew something was off. Keep killing darkspawn and it will eventually unlock.

Same here, 217 kills but no chieve. Started with a mage for my first character. I'll report back when I get it, to see if it's the same number.

This achievement must be bugged right now. When I played on PC, I had no problem unlocking early in the game, but right now on my 360, I have close to 700 Darkspawn kills and none of the achievements to show for it.

Yes, sorry - the original guide had multiple comments on the issue and ideas on how to solve it. All three of these are still utterly bugged and left to random chance. Though, with the DLCs you shouldn't have any problems with downing 1500-2000 darkspawn, and the achievement WILL unlock for 1000 in the end.

Yes it must be main charecter kills not party kills. But can you see your main charecters kills anywhere ?

Having trouble with this one myself. I'm at about 300 and still no unlock. It worked fine on PC, but I'm having trouble getting this on the 360. Any confirmation that you actually have to kill them with your main character or controlled party member?

When my main character landed my party's 409 darkspawn kill, it finally unlocked. I fear my 1000 kills will bug up the arse

While it has been said that there is no individual counter for darkspawn kills, a way that I got this was to hold my party back anytime i saw Darkspawn near so my main dude could get the kills. I got the 100 kills when I had a party total of 318. It is so finicky, but just keep at it and then you know if that worked, the other 900 will after. Carry on.

As of 12/10/12 today, I finally got Master Warden and Blight Queller. The tips for these coincide for the Grey Warden achievement. Just set tactics for your allies to heal you and help you in little ways so that you can kill every one yourself. Using a mage with viral Walking bomb and eventually the Blizzard, Inferno, Tempest, and Death casts will help immensely to reach the 100 easily and 500 and 1000 following. If for some reason you do not get Grey Warden by the time the endgame starts, just follow the tips for the Alienage runs and keep at it by reloading your autosaves if you die or save over the second slot when you complete it and then load autosave again. Just keep at it and you will hit it eventually. After 22 runs, (18 of which i died and reloaded autosave) I finally got the two higher ones. This one was tricky for me as I stated earlier this year.... I am so glad I figured it out.
