Dragon Ball: Raging Blast

Oh my god, i got it first try. Blow exchange and Guard Crash was the hardest ones to get, i got it in the last 30 seconds though. Thanks for the guide, it helped a lot.

Followed this guide to the letter and thankfully unlocked this achievement

You're right in saying it's not as tough as it sounds, or as tough as how people make it sound! What I found difficulty was just getting it done in the 3 minutes provided. Even one extra minute would've made this a breeze lol!

I got this on my 10th attempt. I would advise that nobody loses their patience with this one. I needed a few attempts because then I got into the routine of what I needed to do, and that helped me eventually.

I opened up doing most of the small actions:

When the battle started, I was positioned behind Broly to ensure I got the first attack. I found Broly launching off those under-arm ki blasts at the beginning if I attacked from the front (seeking that guard cancel in my first combo as this guide suggested). Missing that First Attack right at the beginning was far too frustrating for me, so I wanted to secure that one safely since there's only one opportunity to earn the First Attack but there is plenty of time to secure the Guard Cancel.

So I opened with:

• X X X X Y
• B (Signature)
• X X X Y
• XX Y
• X Y
• X + LS down Y
• X + LS Up Y + A X X X X X (Air Combo)

I'd charge some Ki, attack Broly, at this point I got my Guard Cancel because I rushed him holding X, it was part lucky but I was able to scratch Guard Cancel off the list early. With that done, I finished off the simple actions:

• X X X X Y + RB/B (Throw) then chased him down
• X + LS Down Y (Sweep off feet, then while on floor...)
• RB + LS Down B (Knockdown)

I stuck close to Broly and got a charged Ki blast (Hold Y), and then I was holding down X until flashing for a Charge: Snap Attack. Followed with Holding X for a Charge Max Attack, once I'd sent Broly flying, I mashed X to get the Pursuit Attack 2

Throughout the battle so far, I was always keeping eyes peeled for large cliff faces nearby, or the in-game pop-up above my health meter which says RB + B CRASH. As it happens, after doing my Pursuit Attack 2, I found Broly and I were close to a Crash point, we just needed to be in the air. So I stayed in the air until Broly came after me. At this point I used X X X X Y, RB + B, got the Crash out the way, done a Charged Ki Blast to be sure I had completed that, and a Signature for good measure. When Broly did come up into the air, he wasn't playing along so I had to use a few punch combos and re-position myself. Comes easily to experienced players on this game, if you're new, try your best to make sure Broly's back is facing the Crash point using whatever technique you're comfortable with

Not a great deal of time has passed so far. Typing this, and for you reading this, it seems like I've already used like 2 minutes of time, but it took me 1 minute or perhaps even less. You just need to rush Broly and get all those combos out the way so you can simplify the remaining task at hand

Now with all those out of the way, I only needed 30 HITS, 30,000 DAMAGE, Blow Exchange, Shot Exchange, and Super Attack Deflect. During the above combo completion I explained, i realised I had Ki Blast Deflect, and also Throw Evasion. When I was close to Broly, he would often attempt a Throw, or sometimes if he had time to charge Ki as I pursued him, he would try his Gigantic Hammer Super move which the random throw evasion beautifully handled

So first I started with 30 HITS, following this guide to the letter. Get quite close to Broly and mash Y until you have 7 hits, immediately rush in with X X X X Y, then move RS left or down to start Meteor Combination. Boost doesn't matter, as I slipped up on this during one of my attempts and still got 30+ Hits.

Now I just need 30,000 DAMAGE, shot exchange and blow exchange. I'm resting on comfortable time here, so I'm Super Rising (which is best on Supreme Kai's World, I wouldn't recommend Cave), and I was charging Ki, and then executing Give Me Energy!, whenever Broly came flying up, I would Hold A and fly away from him. Follow the guide, throw some Ki blasts if Broly's going for High Tension and his Ultimate Attack. We want to avoid that at all costs, because if he does manage to get close to you and pull off his Ultimate, you're going to be surviving on dangerously low health and you could use without the added pressure of surviving, let alone pulling this all off in the time limit.

Broly would hate my Ki blasts of course, he wouldn't be hit by them but he would stop charging up Ki and instead would either make a Super Dash for me, or fire off an Erasor Cannon. For me, it was an Erasor Cannon. First thing I did was deflect the Super Attack. Stay where you are so the attack is gonna hit you, Hold RB the entire time, and spin your LS rapidly as though you're trying to win a Blow or Shot Exchange. You should deflect the Super Attack no problem. While Broly charges again, I'm pulling off Give Me Energy! and I'm timing when I do this specifically. Because you're vulnerable when performing Give Me Energy, and

1) You don't want this to be interrupted otherwise it's wasted Ki

2) You don't want to be a sitting duck for an Erasor Cannon

So time your Give Me Energy! very carefully, and once you have performed this 3x without interruption, you're ready for your Ultimate Attack (The Super Spirit Bomb). Charge up to High Tension mode, It doesn't matter if Broly does the same, I will explain why momentarily.

You want to Super Dash Broly (A), then double tap A to whizz round behind Broly, mash X on your journey behind him so you can stun him with a punch. Now this part is vital, DO NOT hit your Ultimate Attack without hitting a punching combo FIRST! So that's X X X X X then click RS immediately. Congratulations you have 30,000 Damage!

Now all I needed was shot and blow exchange. Nice and comfortable really. I Super Rised and charged up any Ki lost, I don't need High Tension anymore. If Broly managed to get to High Tension before when you did, his meter was depleting while he was down from the Spirit Bomb, and he'll lose that High Tension if he dashes up into the air to chase you down.

Keep your distance once more, make sure Broly is in the air with you but you have some distance. Ki blast him after he's charged enough for a Super attack. Broly actually charged for me this time, so I pressed A to dash him too, this started the Blow exchange. I'm good at these anyway but the customised deck selection makes this a great deal easier. Impossible to lose. I did not do a Pursuit Attack 2 after this blow exchange. I wanted to keep to the skies because I found it easier for Broly to fire Super Attacks, which is what I need for the final Shot exchange

At last, after Ki blasting to stop Broly from charging, you fired off an Erasor Cannon. I pushed RS Up, and my Kamehameha started off the Shot exchange. Spin the LS and win, again impossible to lose this.

Once done, I paused the game and run down the list from this guide and made sure I had done absolutely everything. Confident that it was all complete, I kept my distance from Broly even though I had more than enough health to survive. I would Ki blast him when he charged ki, and I would fly away from him constantly unless I hit the wall of the map, then I would try to work around the map avoiding Broly.

Tbh I only had roughly 45 seconds left after I had finished the last requirement, because the 30 second timer began counting down not long after I started avoiding Broly


Survive the countdown and there you have it. My game always kinda freezes for a split second when I have popped an achievement at the end of a battle when the post-battle scoresheet is popping up. So be sure to look out for that if your game does the same. And then take a nice deep exhale and relish the fact that you tackled this.

Because it may not be as tough as it sounds, but it's still a pretty impressive feat you just pulled! Well done and a huge thank you to all the Guides and especially this one. This guide seemed to discuss the order in which you may like to try unlocking everything. I'm sure many people will find their own preferred methods. I tweaked this guides method a bit, by getting all the combos and ground fighting done. This left me with mostly air-based combat and I found this fairly easy and comfortable to finish on
