How to unlock the Star Holder achievement in Dragon Ball: Raging Blast - Definitive Guide

Dragon Ball: Raging BlastStar HolderThe Star Holder achievement in Dragon Ball: Raging Blast worth 27 pointsCollect 100 stars.

Stars are the currency for Raging Blast that you can use to purchase items from the Star Shop in Dragon Battle Collection mode. They are earned by clearing any of the 3 "Mission" objectives tied to each Saga Battle in Dragon Battle Collection mode. These missions become available after beating any Saga battle for the first time.

You are free to spend earned stars as you go. You do NOT have to have 100 total stars in possession for this to pop. This cumulative achievement, more or less, will be obtained naturally while acquiring stars in order to purchase necessary items from the Star Shop such as Costumes, BGMs, Saga Battles, etc. You will need to obtain many more stars than 100 in order to procure the other achievements in the game such as:

Dragon Ball: Raging BlastFashion KingThe Fashion King achievement in Dragon Ball: Raging Blast worth 39 pointsUnlock every costume.

Dragon Ball: Raging BlastMaestroThe Maestro achievement in Dragon Ball: Raging Blast worth 41 pointsGet all of the game BGM.

Dragon Ball: Raging BlastBattle-Thirsty WarriorThe Battle-Thirsty Warrior achievement in Dragon Ball: Raging Blast worth 30 pointsUnlock all the battles in the Dragon Battle Collection.

Every time you beat a battle in Dragon Ball Collection Mode, a new 4th option will become available once you re-select an already "Cleared Mission":

• Start Battle
• Story Recap
• Clear Conditions
• Mission

After beating a battle for the first time, select "Mission" to see the requirements for each red star. There are 3 obtainable stars per mission and 1 of the missions is always to "Finish on Hard difficulty". Once you are aware of the star mission requirements, start the battle and fulfill them. When fulfilling star missions, there will be NO notification in-battle of you achieving them. You will have to win the battle in order for the game to show you the stars you unlocked after the results.

The easiest route in pursuing these stars is to:

1. Beat a battle on Easy,
2. Then beat it on Hard while trying to fulfill the other 2 star missions (if possible).
3. Finally, you can beat the battle on Easy again to mop up any stars you missed from you hard play-through of that battle.

About Star Missions
There are 309 total possible stars to acquire across all Story Sagas. To buy all the stuff in the Star Shop, you'll need approximately 279 stars. This means you have 30 Star Missions that can be skipped. Some examples of star missions include:

• Battle in the air for a long time
• Deflect 10 Ki blasts
• Land five pursuit attacks: 2 after sending your opponent into the air
• Land three Knockdown Attacks
• Perform five Snap-Vanishing
• Throw your opponent from the rear

If you're having trouble figuring out how to fulfill some of these requirements, there's a full detailed guide on how to achieve all the Star Missions at the link below. Guide courtesy of THES79.

Dashboard Exploit
However, if you don't care about keeping some of the purchased content, then here's a trick you can use. Technically, it is NOT necessary to obtain 279 stars to purchase everything from the Star Shop for the achievements. In fact, at most, you'll only need 65 stars to unlock both the Costume and BGM achievements by simply dashboarding right after buying them all. Though, in order to use this trick, you need to save up every star you've earned up until you unlock the 'Limitbreaker!' achievement. You are of course allowed to spend stars to unlock Secret Battles, but do not spend them on anything else. Here is how the exploit works:

1. After unlocking 'Limitbreaker!', you can then use 65 stars to buy all Costumes to unlock the 'Fashion King' achievement. Now simply hit the guide button and quit to the Xbox Home dashboard.

2. Afterwards, return to the shop and buy all BGMs for the 'Maestro' achievement then dashboard again. This will help you to save your stars and use them to unlock the Museum: Secret Battles Battles.

Using this trick, however, you will at least need around 134 stars to buy and keep all Secret Battles along with the other items. You'll need the Secret Battles in order to obtain the Battle-Thirsty Warrior achievement. Here are the amount of stars you'll need to purchase everything:

All Costumes: 65 stars
All Secret Battles: 134 stars
All Museum Secret BGMs: 30 stars

This trick saves time and effort with collecting stars where you don't have to go out of your way fulfilling all the various criteria. With this trick in mind, it is suggested to merely complete all Battles on Hard for the Limitbreaker! achievement, then mop up any "easy" stars from missions to reach 184 stars. This way, you can purchase all Secret Battle items from the Star Shop. You should only use the dashboard trick for buying all Costumes and BGM to save your stars for the rest of the items in the shop.

Note: These achievements will pop assuming you already unlocked Limitbreaker! Also this method does NOT have any effect on the 100% Achievement.

Play any saga in Story Mode on any difficulty
After completing the fight go back in and you should see Mission listed at the bottom
Complete those 3 objectives to recieve a star for each
1 star will always be for finishing on Hard difficulty

You don't need to have 100 stars at any one time, just to have unlocked that many in total

There are missions that open up once you've completed a battle in DBC. There are 3 stars for each battle. One of them is to complete the battle on Hard, and the other two are random ones that you'll need to complete. Collecting stars will help you buy things in the Star Shop. If you need help on how to do certain star missions, use THES79's Stars & Side Missions to help you get all of them.

I recommend first getting stars for the task Complete on Hard difficult, and then the remaining 2 stars. To make it easier to get the last two stars, set the difficulty level to Easy. A little patience and everything will work out.
