The #1 ranking is 998. Easy way to get this is to get into Bonus Time mode. If you keep getting the Bonus Time, the bar will keep going faster, making it harder and the flashing bar will shorten every time you land in it. Try not to miss the flashing bar on your first hit, and your hits after getting out of the Bonus Time, or your length meter will be shorten also.
