How to unlock the Sharpshooter achievement in Drake Hollow - Definitive Guide

You need a bow and a few arrows (obviously).
I've try do this using a waypoint on map (near where enemie was) but it's pretty difficult to pinpoint a moving enemie.
What I've done was as follow :
1. Find two islands that are near each other but separated by aether lake. Flat environnement, like a beach, will help a lot. Do this on day time for maximum visibility, but not a requirement.
2. Go on one island, search for a Stalker (big one with teeths). I use a stalker for 4 reasons :
- they are big (easier to hit)
- they are slow (easier to hit and predict movement)
- Feral are too fast and often flee away
- and arrows doesnt seems to hurt smaller enemies at that distance
3. Lure the Stalker until near the island limit and use Aether Ward to cross aether lake to the second island. Stalker should stay on the island he was and start roaming around.
4. Take your bow how, aim at the stalker but DON'T SHOOT YET. Now you need to fall back until you see the Stalker "magicaly" disappear from your screen (out of sight). At this point, you should be around 110 - 115 m (average) from your target.
5. Take one or two steps foward and the Stalker should reappear. That is your shooting "spot". You may need to move a bit to adjust your distance if the Stalker is walking too. Just try to stay at maximum distance.
6. Aim above the Stalker with your bow AND watch were your arrow lands after a shot. Knowing where your arrow lands, you will be able to guess your next shoot (higher or lower) and hit the Stalker. Usually two shot are required to kill a Stalker.
NB: You need to kill the Stalker for this achievement to unlock. Usually take 2 arrows to kill one. After a shot, if you hit your target, QUICKLY shoot another arrow since target are usually stun for a few second. Hopefully you will kill him right away.
NB2: If your getting short on arrows supplies, you can cross back the lake to recover arrows that miss target on the ground. Be careful tho since Stalker will wait for you.
NB3 : Achievement unlocked for me a few second after the kill.

I was having trouble tracking an idle target in the distance, so I deployed a Raid Bait at the camp in spring and ran off to one of the side islands. The enemies will focus on low level improvements, standing mostly still.

I found a stalker on a beach and had a vantage point from the top of a house, using a levitation curio to get on the roof, Plenty of line of sight after I cut down a few trees. I also used a marker to measure approximate distance.
