How to unlock the Goblin Hunter achievement in Dungeons & Dragons: Daggerdale - Definitive Guide

This pertains to only the Goblin class enemies. There are tons of them, and you should get this easily around level 5-6. Note that the "kills" noted on your friends leaderboard tab includes everything but can still be used to indicate how far along you are.

Goblins are found in all chapters, but in the last chapter they only appears as phantoms.

Also note that the count is for your profile, not a specific character. All your saved characters kills - if say, you're working towards all classes to level 10 - counts towards the total pool of 1000.

So, is count work for a game hosted by another player in online coop?

You probably only lack a few Iron2gold, and need to play the first levels with a different character. Remember that the number is total kills, not just goblins.

I started the game a few weeks ago, and when I want to check my leaderboard, it says nothing. I mean no counts is indicated. I can see the worldwide leaderboards, how much the #1 has done in time, kills and everything, but when I change the filter to just me or my friends, nothing appears.

I'm the host of the game, I just play with one friend, online, and he doesn't see his too.

Did I miss something? Do you think the achievement will pop one day even if no stats is available? We're both around level 7-8, at the beginning of chapter 3, and no Goblin Hunter ach unlocked yet...

Thanks.

According to my experience, it seems the kills are only tracked while you're playing alone.
I completed two runs with a friend, none of us got it and both our stats were not progressing in the rankings.

I started a run alone with a third character, my stats were progressing in the rankings after each checkpoint and I unlocked the achievement about halfway through the game, near the end of chapter 2.

Goblins are the most common enemies in the tutorial and Chapters 1 and 2. You can check your total kills in the Scoreboards menu. Unfortunately, this number isn't broken down into types of enemies, but it should still give you an idea of where you are, especially if you're still in Chapter 2. This trophy carries over between characters, so you shouldn't need to grind for this trophy if you're going for Four of a Kind, as there are plenty of goblins to kill. But if you somehow level all four characters to 10 and still don't have this trophy, use chapter select to finish it off.

This achievement is cumulative across all characters, so you can get 999 kills with one, and 1 kill with another and the achievement will unlock. There is nowhere on the game you can check your progress, which is a little irritating.

You will most likely pick this up on your way to "Four of a kind", but if you don't then keep replaying chapter 1. As the Goblins are plentiful on that chapter.

You could say it's a story trophy. I received it during the game at the end of the second episode.
