How to unlock the Iron Man achievement in Dungeons & Dragons: Daggerdale - Definitive Guide

"Iron Man - Log 24 Hours of gameplay."

As the title says just log 24 hours of gameplay.
This should come naturally while going for the other achievements, namely 'Four Of A Kind' since it will take a while to get all characters to level 10.

--Important note!--
- You DO NOT have to do this with one character/the same character.I got this about two hours in while leveling up my fourth character.

Also, if the game pauses, it WILL NOT count towards the achievement.

Hi everyone,

I started this game in 2013, and then let it go for a reason or another. I had 3 achievements left (kills, hours and levels). Now a friend of mine wants to play it with me.

So I relaunched the game, and saw that even if my lvl10 character is still here, my stats are all at zero.
While looking at the 1,000 kill guide, I noticed that back in time I already had this problem. Meaning now or earlier, my stats never changed, staying at none.

Do you think my time and kills can count anyway? Since I still have 3 characters to level up, I'll get the occasion to check this out. Otherwise I'll wait to get all my characters at lvl10 to delete my save and the game cache, in hope it'll fixe it after.

But if you have an explaination on those not showing stats of mine, I'll take it. I can see worldwide stats anyway, but not mines or my friends' ones.

Thanks for the reply on this oooooooooold game.

Is there anyway to see how much time you've spent playing? After I went through with my first character and get him to level 10, under the Leaderboards it said my Total Time was 8:34:23. So 8 1/2 hours. I've since gotten all my characters to level 10 and no 24 achievement yet. Went back and saw that my total time was now 4:07:12. So i'm guessing its only keeping track of how fast you get through the game.

I guess i'll just plug in a controller and let one of my characters idle by a merchant overnight. Hopefully it will pop by morning.

Has there been any report of this achievement being bugged? I am now on my 6th character (the 4 at level 10 & 1 at level 7 plus 6th at level 4) & still have yet to get this achievement. Granted my fastest time for 2 of them were 3 hours, which didn't include the hours it took to level them up, however my first was at around 10 hours including leveling. This game is not that fun to be playing 4 times over let along 6 & unfortunately I don't have a plug in controller. :(

This seems bugged for me too. I have all classes at 10, got the 100,000 gold and just left the game on with a wired controller for 8 hours last night and it still hasn't popped. I know I'm way over the 24 hours by now.

Yeah since I posted that comment I put another 7 hours into the game the hard way & still no achievement. The game has also been freezing on me ALOT making it that much worse to play.

Mine just popped a few minutes ago. It took about 12 additional hours being connected with a wired controller after getting all of the other achievements. Not sure it if makes any difference but for the last few hours I has actually moved into one of the dungeon areas rather than sitting in the town area.

Either this is slightly bugged, or I just finished this game really fast lol. All characters finished at Level 10, all achievements done except this one, and I've had it idle for 2-3 hours so far and still nothing. I've moved into a dungeon area just in case as well.

@ Crimson: It's a little buggy I think but I finally got mine after about another 8-10 hours of idle boosting/co-op play after I had everything else completed. Keep going & it will eventually pop.

Just so people know, this achievement is still a little buggy. I've leveled up all four character to level 10 and did the last chapter another time to get the multiplayer achievement. According to the leaderboards, I've played 5 hours and 15 minutes. That means I'm pretty awesome to finish this game 4.25 times in five hours. I've currently got it on idle right now, my fighter just chilling right outside the final boss.

Gundam, the leaderboard only shows you the quickest playthrough not the total. So you should be done with that achievement fairly soon if 5 hours is your quickest.

This achievement is for playing for 24 hours overall. Should unlock while getting all other achievements. or just leave your xbox on and have your player on the screen just chilling. Use a plugged in controller. If your controller dies it goes to the save menu.

You don't have to log all 24 hours at once; it's cumulative. I would estimate a time of about 6-8 hours to get a character to level 10, so you will probably earn this trophy on the way to Four of a Kind, and if not, you'll be close. If you want it sooner than that, you can always leave the game on overnight or while you're away. It doesn't have to be active gameplay; leaving the game on a menu still counts towards this trophy.

Once you have the Four of a kind achievement you should be around 18+ hours of gameplay. You can either play the game over and over again to get to 24 hours or you can leave xbox on whilst you do something else, school/work/sleep.

Although if you're leaving your xbox on then you'll either need a wired controller or a wireless controller which is plugged in with a play 'n' charge kit.
