How to unlock the The Big Stick achievement in Dungeons & Dragons: Daggerdale - Definitive Guide

I used a human warrior while playing. Once I reached level 7 my I used my special move "Terrifying Impact" It was dealing anywhere from 11-88 hp of damage. I was using the spectral longsword as my weapon linked to my special move. This popped in a smaller battle for me.

I also used this method, found it easiest against skeletons and lizard-men for some strange reason.

Its funny, its exactly what happened. 88 damage against a lizard guy, was at Level 7, using a two handed blunt weapon though. Works great though.

I do not know why people say this doesn't pop with the catapult at the end. It unlocked for me at that point. You hit 150 with it. Wait until the Dragon lowers his head after breathing fire at you (after taking out his feet), then hit the catapult. You may need to do it twice since it unlocked for me the second time I used the catapult.

This was during single player. It did not unlock during multiplayer and I am an Archer lvl 8.

My friend and I just unlocked it a few minutes ago during the dragon battle using the catapults. He hit the dragon once, and I hit him too one seconde later with the other catapult, and both had it. We were in an online game. And I confirm the dragon's head must be down next to the ground for us to hit him with the catapults.

I got this closer to the end of chapter 2 with the wizard. I had 3 arcane damage boosting items equipped giving me close to an additional 50% cold damage. I used the ice ring spell on a group of goblins and scored an 80hp critical on three of them without even trying for the achievement.

I did a similar thing with the 'Lightning Serpent' spell and lightning damage boosting items. I'm not sure if that's the exact name of it but I only had it boosted to level 2. I think I was a level 7 wizard.

This cheevo will really happen without even trying for it, like MrBojeezy mentioned.

Easy to get on the final boss

*spoilers below*

When the Red Dragon appears beat downs it's two front claws. Then run around to the balistas / catapults on either side of the square area and press Y near then to launch a projectile. Ought to do 150 damage if it hits.

You can also do this against the normal enemies but seeing as they move around a lot it's probably easier on the massive dragon :)

You will most likely earn this automatically as the ballistas in the final boss battle count. Based on the scoreboards, 150 damage seems to be the maximum amount you can achieve without cheating. If you want to get the trophy before the final battle, use any abilities and potions that will increase your damage and hope for a critical hit.

The easiest way to unlock this is during the Rezlus/Red Dragon battle in Chapter 4. On either side of the room there are catapults, pulling the level will launch a flaming barrel. If you hit an NPC with this then you'll do 150 damage, and the achievement will unlock.

It is possible to hit over 75 with a level 6-8 mage/fighter, but it is dependent on your gear and how you assigned you skill points.
