To unlock this achievement you must reach the final level of the season progress objective in Ultimate Team. For season one this is level 40. Pay attention to live objectives that offer significant xp for completing them and be sure to do the seasonal weekly objectives for good xp. You also get good xp for competing in Fut Champs.

WARNING: I recently got to level 40 on my series x and unlocked the achievement. I then logged in on old gen hoping the achievement would unlock there too and it's doesn't seem to have. I will try a few different things but at the moment it seems like you might need to do this one twice for current gen and old gen.

UPDATE: I completed another xp related challenge on my old gen and the achievement unlocked about 2 minutes after. So you to need to earn more xp on the other generation to get it to pop again.

In each Season of Ultimate Team, there will be a certain level of XP that can be achieved with rewards given at each interval of 1000 XP.

This can be checked by going into Ultimate Team - Objectives - Season Progress.

This will tell you your current level, and the total amount of XP needed to reach the top level. It will also tell you how long a Season will be active for.

Take note of this as trying to attempt this when you only have a short length of time of the Season remaining may mean it is physically impossible to earn enough XP, and you may be better off waiting for a new Season to begin.

Your total XP can also been seen at all times along with your total coins and EAFC Points in the top right corner of any UT screen.

The amount of XP for the top level seems to vary. In Season 3, the top amount was around 50,000 XP. For Season 4 Act I: Fanfare the top level was only 20,000 XP.

To check the current Season's top level, head to Objectives - Season Rewards - scroll to the right until you reach the final tab.

XP can only be gained directly from completing Objectives, and indirectly as a reward from your final weekly rankings in Division Rivals, Champions Finals (not Play-Offs), and Squad Battles.

Be aware that while some Objectives award you XP automatically upon completion, some Objectives need to be claimed to in order to be added.

I believe that if XP is part of a Group Reward, it will always need to be claimed.

At the time of writing at least, I believe that you CANNOT earn XP just by playing games.

Again at the time of writing, any Objectives in the Milestones or Foundations categories DO NOT offer any XP. These only reward Packs and Coins.

Certain Objectives/Group Objectives in the Live category will offer XP and should be completed where possible. These usually offer larger amounts of XP, so check this category often to see what Objectives are offering XP rewards.

The Objectives in the Seasonal Category contain 2-3 Daily Objectives which are either to play 1, 2, and/or 3 games, or win 1 game.

These reset at the same time every day, which is currently 8am GMT (although knowing EA, this is very likely subject to change and may vary between regions).

The time for the Objective to reset is displayed on every Objective that is repeatable. You will also receive bonus XP from the Group Reward.

Weekly Objectives offer longer tasks and more XP. These usually involve completing all of the Daily Objectives 1, 2, 3, and 5 times, and playing 5, 10, and 20 matches.

You will again receive bonus XP from the Weekly Objectives Group Reward.

The Rivals Bonus Objectives (if present) DO NOT offer any XP. These give you Packs and Champions Qualification points.

If you are however also looking to acquire the 1250 points to qualify for the Champions Play-Offs

it may be worth combining these achievements to save time, as well as reaching Milestone 3 of playing 90 Division Rivals games within one season.

My personal method for getting 3 games played per day was to play Single Player Squad Battles matches on Beginner.

I would score one goal, get the ball back after kick off and then idle out the rest of the game. On Beginner the AI will 99.99% of the time refuse to tackle you.

Doing this 3 times will complete all 3 Daily Objectives.

Obviously you could play all 20 games in one day, but you will still have to play at least 3 games once per day after they have reset. It is advised to check before playing in a new day to make sure the Daily/Weekly Objectives have been reset to avoid "wasted" games.

You can also update your opponents by pressing on the Squad Battles Hub screen, or you can chose to replay the Team of the Week and/or Featured Team.

Playing in Squad Battles will also increase your Weekly Rankings, which at the end of each Weekly run will also offer you XP along with Coins and Packs.

Ensuring you do this every day for a week will earn you all of the Weekly Objectives (assuming the top Weekly Objective remains as playing 20 total games).

Be sure to check if Objectives require you to play against a CPU of a certain difficulty. For most Objectives the requirement is at least Semi Pro, but obviously EA can set Objective criteria as they see fit.
