The PGA TOUR events are within the career mode, and come available after you either qualify from the Amateur or Korn Ferry championship, or chose to skip straight to PGA TOUR mode.
Simply win any of the tournaments in the season to achieve this. If you also make sure you have the rounds set to 4 and not 1, you can also get
