How to unlock the Bedside Manner achievement in Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon - Definitive Guide

This is extremely easy. KEY is to play split screen and dont touch the other controller. I was a rank 7 Jet when I did this and had beast weapons. Choose a level 1 trooper as your split screen partner. Choose level 1-1 clear out all the ants. Now just sit back with and down your other controller over and over. With the much stronger weapons I was able to get the remaining 180 revives I needed in less than 15 minutes. You can also down the AI team mate and revive him or if he keeps reviving your split screen partner, down him and leave him down, or just turn bots off in the menu. This is by far the quickest and most efficient way of getting 250 revives.

This achievement really isn't that tough despite such a high ratio off the bat, simply run up to allies during battle and hold "Y" to revive them after they are downed and have the symbol above their body.

If you really want this achievement, I would suggest playing as a Jet or a Trooper as they are really the best two to pick people up, tactical troops aren't so bad either. The reason for this being these troops can all sprint at a decent speed, where the battler can not. This isn't to say they can't get revives, it's just a bit trickier.

If you are looking to be able to rush to your friends rescue at high speeds, the jet will be your best bet. The fastest character out of the 4 I have found myself being picked up by jets the most out of these classes in my time playing the game on all difficulties.

Another solid choice is the trooper who can only sprint at the average pace, but pretty much has an instant revive with some average weapons that can help clear enemies before trying to pick up an ally.

The trooper and battler are really just average though the trooper can set up turrets to give him a bit of cover fire. I would suggest trying to clear the area a little, but not trying to over do it while picking up team mates as you usually can just rush them and hold y. The revive is pretty quick even if you don't use the trooper, but be warned if bugs hit you it will have to start over.

The best boosting method would be either of the two mentioned in the other solutions, or waiting until you get your pesticide guns considering any time you use them you will most likely be taking out the AI companions who tend to rush far too much, just make sure you are a safe distance away!

Keeping this all in mind, all you really have to do is play the game! If you are truly evil you can down the AI and revive them, but that really isn't necessary as with all of the time sink achievements on this list if you are going for completion this one will most likely be knocked out of the way long before some of the other ones, especially in survival!

In the fifth paragraph, whenever you said "trooper" it should actually say "tactical." Just a heads-up as it might confuse folks. You got a thumbs-up from me, though; very solid write-up. ^_^

Like everybody has been saying play on 1-1 normal with bots helping you and use the heavy trooper (the guy with the shield) try to use a rocket launcher or a missle launcher. The strongest weapon you have is the obvious choice here.

Now the reason I say kill 2 bots is because its faster than killing a single controller and because when I tried this myself earlier the game was kind enough to crash during split screen which was more than annoying after about 50 revives. So if you want to avoid this I highly recommend not doing split screen to avoid a crash near the end of the grind, but this may just be a case of me being unlucky so don't take my word for it.

Secondly use the heavy trooper and deploy his shield this way you can fire your heavy weapons at extremely close range without nearly killing yourself in the process try to hit them both with one blast if you can.

All in all its not difficult in the slightest its just a big grind that can be accomplished by playing genuinely or boosting for a good 30+ minutes depending how many revives you need.

I'm from Buenos Aires and I say kill em all!

Play 1-1 on Normal. Clear out the first wave of Ants and when the coast is clear just keep killing your AI team mates then revive them. Its a bit "grind-y" but hey its a lot quicker than natural progression would be.

You must revive your partner(s) a total of 250 times. All playthroughs and modes count towards this total. Both AI and online partners count towards this total. Terminator has found a way to speed up getting this trophy:

For the "Bedside Manner" trophy, I have found a really fast way of getting it: Get the Battle Armour up to about tier 4, wait until your Squad is next you, then unleash your Overload attack (+) which will Instantly knock them out, revive them then rinse and repeat.

During a Survival mission you can revive any teammate up to three times before they are completely dead; there are unlimited revives during the campaign. Any armor type can revive, though the Trooper armor does so the fastest. This counts on both human and AI teammates. Simply hold the Y button over a downed teammate to revive them. The best place to work on this though is during your Inferno playthrough. You could also do it in a 6-player Survival game. You will all die eventually, likely before Wave 10, so you can try to snag a few revives per player.

If you want to purposely kill/revive your AI, use the Tactical armor's mines. Shoot them as your AI buddies stand over them to kill them in one explosion.
