El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron

You'll encounter Nether Sariel at the end of level 4, who ends up being a giant bat...thing. The key to this is that if you die, do NOT try to recover. Just let the Game Over screen come to you and you will reload at the beginning of the fight (unless of course you're also going for the Living Miracle achievement, in which case you should exit to the main menu). He has three different phases and uses a mix of three attacks:

* Columns of purple flame/bats. Simply keep moving and you can avoid these. His first two phases will create 3 of these columns, but his final phase can make up to 5 as far as I know.
*Divebomb. Double-jump over this.
*Kick-combo. This is his most dangerous move. You can't avoid it so you'll need to block it, but unless you are using the Veil (which you shouldn't be) you will need to time a perfect block. Even then, you need to make sure you dodge his last kick, as it will pop you for a good one regardless.

Nether Sariel starts off in his blue phase, which consists of him using his above moves regularly. Let him kill you to begin with so that Uriel can give you his power after a 2-minute cutscene that you can't skip on your initial playthrough (-_-). Unleash an Overboost on him (LB + RB) and lay into him, then pick up a Gale if you didn't already have one. You'll probably have to knock him down at least two times to send him into his next phase. Also keep in mind that he will counter with a divebomb as soon as he gets up from being knocked down.

Next comes his yellow phase, which is the exact same as the above phase save for a purple ring of fire that he will sometimes make in the arena that damages you for getting too far away. Fight him as normal.

Finally is his red phase, which will see the ring of fire get smaller and his flaming column attack last longer. Finish him off here and your work is done. Also take note that if Uriel ever shows up and tells you that he can help, USE HIM (LB + RB). This will restore your armor as well as increasing your attack!

An easy way to do this is first acquire every Ishtar bones. The locations of these can be found from the guide of the "I Will Mourn You" achievement just below: Solution for I Will Mourn You In El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron

After that, you will unlock the special armor which you can't take any damage from enemies and boss so it make a piece of cake to beat them.
