You'll obtain the ally mine automatically as you progress. Then you'll be forced to use it on a single mech to demonstrate how it works. You hit down on the D-pad, then hold LB and press RT to plant it. Finally, hit X and it will detonate, and any mechs in it's radius will be allied for a short time. Obviously, it works best when you either use a Decoy or EMP first to distract your enemies.

Anyways, right after you use it for the first time, make your way over to the turret on the left, as Pigsy suggests. Use the mine and the turret will destroy all the nearby enemies. Hide, wait for the turret to become 'un-allied', then distract and use another mine on the turret for the achievement.

the level you get the ally mine is chapter 9 Organized Chaos..

You will obtain the ally gadget in chapter nine (Organized Chaos). The ally gadget lets you turn enemies into allies for a brief amount of time. You first use it on a mech, but after you head towards a turret. Use the ally gadget twice on the same turret to get this trophy. Press to equip the gadget. Press then to place the gadget on the floor, after press to use the gadget. Repeat once more to get this trophy.
