How to unlock the Escaped New York achievement in Enslaved: Odyssey to the West - Definitive Guide

Tech Orb Tips:
In the first area a lot of orbs are hard to see because either they are against a bright background or because of the orb draw distance. It's really unfortunate that orbs don't have a great draw distance in Enslaved. The other thing in the first area to look out for is the boat. Shoot it's exposed fuel tank. You'll be glad you did.

Boss:
Another dog, this time you have to kill it! Use your stun shot to stun it, then either melee for a little damage or use the plasma shot for a lot (upgrading it helps a lot!). When it runs, chase it on your cloud and use B for a finisher. Repeat until dead (it, not you).

Story Related. Unlocks at the end of Chapter 5.

At the end of the chapter you will have to face a Dog. 

To destroy it, you will need to make use of the Stun Blast. Ammo will respawn should you ever run out, so don't hold back! Hover away from the Dog on your Cloud until you're far enough, then take aim with your Staff and stun him. Once stunned he'll fall to the ground, in which you should run up to him and unleash melee attacks. When it gets back up, simply repeat the same thing over again until his first Life Bar's depleted. With his first Life Bar gone, the Dog will try to run away, dropping Blue Orbs along the way. Catch up to him with your Cloud and perform a Takedown . 

Do the same thing on his second Life Bar, and the Dog will be defeated.
