How to unlock the Fully Loaded achievement in Enslaved: Odyssey to the West - Definitive Guide

I could't be bothered trying to find every orb, so I decided to farm them from enemies. I found that the two best farming levels are level 13 and level 14. It turns out that you can get 30,000 every time you play level 14. However, every time you play level 13, you can get between 70,000 and 80,000 orbs per play by defeating all the enemies at the end. Each time you play the level, it takes about 20 minutes.

I managed to get enough orbs looking for fairly obvious orbs and slightly hidden orbs on a regular playthrough of the game that I only had to replay level 13 twice to get enough orbs to buy everything. Hope this helps.

Edit: Apparently, there may have been an update limiting the number of orbs you can collect since I first posted it. I have no way to confirm this as I no longer have the game. However, I still imagine this remains the best level to farm for orbs.

Just played chapter 13 and only got around 40k. You have to do a lot of tedious platforming before the end fighting.

That's odd. Both time I played it, I got at least double that. I played on the regular difficulty. Maybe if you didn't, it has something to do with that. I just am not sure why that would happen.

I got around 70 - 75k as well the second time around. There are so many enemies to get tech orbs from... ;-)

If it helps anyone, I played the 13th level on normal and got 71,000 from the fight at the end. I'm not sure if difficulty plays a role in it but I played on normal and tha'ts how many orbs I got

I'm sorry it doesn't work for you Snick. I really don't know what could have happened. The first person said they only got 40k too. I don't have the game anymore so, I can't re-test it. Hope you end up getting it.

Ditto. Definitely got less than 30k my first run through. A good amount for sure, but not the 70k I was hoping for.

The voting system drives me nuts. People never think they are the problem but the solution is no matter how many other people it works for. Where has personal accountability gone?

Was there an update that changed the amount you can get since November?

I had no problem getting 70k on level 13 with the updates on. I played on easy if that helps. I also found that using the staff to melee produced more orbs than shooting them.

a small tip for all who habe problems grinding. In my game after every grind I ended up with less orbs (pure melee), in the end I only got 7 Orbs per Kill. I started a new Journey, which did not help. Replaying levels i had not replayed yet did help. In level 7 i got 400 Orbs per kill. I tested it a bit and would recommend all who have problems grinding, mix it up :-).

Worked for me after beating on Hard using chapter select. Netted 60k easily. Thanks for the tip.

So 7 years later, I'm not getting anywhere close to anybody else. Just did chapter 13 twice and got 6k each time

I just played with the update on and off. I played on normal and there does appear to be a limit. I could only get 30k without the update though. The way to clear the update is to clear the cache on your hard drive.

Great guide, got exactly 65000 tech points from almost exclusively using physical combat on easy on level 13 (except from the mechs you have to shoot).
Done with all updates and connected to live.

As said in previous comments, if you are having a problem, its probably because you are shooting the mechs and halving your tech points by doing so.

There is absolutely no problems with this guide.

Okay listen, I fully believe that you guys got that amount of orbs per level. But for me I just completed my third run through of level 13. First time I got around 30k on easy, then LESS than that on Normal. My last run on normal I just got less than 10k!!!!!! Fucking ridiculous, and just a word of warning to anyone else. I am only 40k away so I'm going to try another level on hard.

This can be done over multiple playthroughs!

All you have to do is purchase every single upgrade.

What I suggest you do is, on your first playthrough buy all the upgrades that match your fighting style/ difficulty. For example.
I played through on HARD at first and so I upgraded HEALTH and SHIELDS more than COMBAT and STAFF.
By the time I'd finished my second playthrough I was missing one upgrade, although if you've collected all orbs throughout playing, this is easily do-able in a shorter space of time.

I did hard 1st as well and I'd say that going health/shields 1st is a *bad* idea. You take so much damage irregardless of those upgrades, but getting some of the combat ones make avoiding taking damage *much* easier.

But to each their own I suppose.

You won't be able to access the Upgrade Menu until 3/4 way through Chapter 2. The Upgrade Menu is accessed through , on the bottom option. Tech Orbs are located around the stages in each chapter for you to collect and are also dropped by enemies. If you have been getting most if not all of the Orbs during your first playthrough, you will have just about enough for all the upgrades.

Purchase all upgrades for Monkey to unlock this trophy, unlocking Shielded from Harm, Fighting Fit, Tough as They Come, and Check My Weapon! along the way. There will be a slight delay for the trophy to pop up after you've purchased everything, so just wait around in-game (not in the menu) till it unlocks.
