How to unlock the Carnivore No More achievement in Exoprimal - Definitive Guide

During the first round in a game of Dino Survival, where you're moving from point-to-point and taking out waves of dinosaurs, one of these waves will spawn a larger "boss" dinosaur that'll take more damage to defeat.

The dinosaur that spawns is random, as far as I can tell. In the early game at least, you will encounter either a Triceratops or a Carnotaurus.

While they're higher health than the regular raptors that attack you, in the game's current state, there aren't really any specific tactics to taking them down with an entire team of 5 (even of randoms) so just button mash your attacks or spam gunfire into them (and use your damaging abilities) and they'll drop in no time at all.

When you defeat your first Carnotaurus, you'll pop this achievement.

In this guide we will show you how to take down the Carnotaurus in Exoprimal and earn the “Carnivore No More” Achievement/Trophy Guide.

In Capcom's Exoprimal you duel against various prehistoric beasts, such as the Carnotaurus, one of the predatory dinosaurs of the Theropod family, which lived during the late Cretaceous period.

Carnotaurus can quickly decimate your team, especially if you don't have enough Tanks to draw the aggro. Unlike other dinosaurs, such as Triceratops, the Carnotaurus does not disengage from a fight, but fights until he draws his last breath.

At the start of the battle, the Carnotaurus roars and attacks the first member of your party in front of it. So ideally if you control a Tank you should get into the front line and draw the aggro. This is exactly what we do using Murasame's "Vajra Counter" skill.

Immediately after the attack is blocked you can counter and deal a lot of damage to the opponent. Keep attacking with melee attacks until your Overdrive charges. Unleash “Meikyo Shisui” to deal 4,000 damage to the Carnotaurus and send it... back to the Cretaceous period.

Once you kill the first Carnotaurus you will earn the “Carnivore No More” Achievement/Trophy.

The Carnotaurus looks like a T. rex, only smaller and with little horns. The best way to deal with this guy is to use the Deadeye exosuit, keep your distance and maintain a high rate of fire, all while waiting for your Rifle Grenade and Cannon abilities to cool down to deal big damage. The Carnotaurus isn’t so tough, just try not to get too close, and go for the head to deal the most damage.
