To Kill the Robot at the ambush area in the elevator/valve section.
You need to Use the grenade that sticks to the ground, and use all your electric grenades. Shooting the robot won't do any damage.

Easy way to defeat the Powered Armor Unit is with shock grenades. Stock up from one of the boxes in the area and stay on the raised section where the enemy enters the area from.
Use the cover and hit it with your shock grenades (best to cook them a bit before releasing). When it’s stunned, spray it with your weapon. I was able to take it down with only three grenades on hard using an assault rifle.
