This achievement is for the Reborn campaign.

So, if I understand this correctly, it's not possible to get "Cut Me Some Flak" (or at least the way you described) and this at the same time?

You can't get both at the same time. There are rocket launchers that can be used to shoot down the choppers (look for the heavily armored troops with green laser targeting), but these only show up after the first chopper has left.

At the start of your first Mission in this campaign you will be in an EPA. As soon as you are given control, do not move. Hold
