get in the mech suit and just sit and shoot anything that comes out at you. do that for three waves and boom your done

As the achievement says survive 3 waves of Contraction without picking up a supply crate. This is most easily done with four players, and Contractions set to Recruit. Do this on the first three waves, and the achievement will unlock at the end of third wave. Best maps for this are "Commute" and "This Is Suicide"

If you all walk out into the fog together and watch each others backs you can also pick up the "Dead Blind" achievement at the same time by continuing to play a couple a waves afterward you Just make sure that after you have "We'll Try Again Tomorrow!" You pick up the crates for weapons to help.

You can do this by yourself with two controllers. The method I personally recommend is this.

Make a Split Screen Contractions game on Mechanized Invasion on Recruit difficulty.

Run both controllers outside to the mech suit. Hide the dummy controller somewhere safe in the corner near the mech. Now just use the mech on your main controller and defend yourself for 3 waves.

The mech pretty much rapes everything on this map so you should have little problems if you watch out for Alma. If your dummy dies it doesnt even matter.

I did this alone. You can do this with a friend all you have to do is sit in the building that you start it on Commute. You start with the pistol. The closer you are to the wall of guns that you cant go pick up yet the more pistol ammo you pick up. The pistol will always give you unlimited ammo from the wall. You can also melee if you get caught between reloads.
