this achievement can be won along side other achievements e.g. win a grand prix, this achevement is self-explanitory but easiest way of getting it is set the AI difficulty to amatuer, set the assists you want or dont want and race doing a career mode race, should unlock within a few races max

You just have to finish a race in at least 3rd position. Shouldn't cause you much trouble. It will come when you win your first race if you haven't got it already.

The podium is reserved for the top 3 drivers (picture probably gives it away). Finish a race in Career or Grand Prix mode in either 1st, 2nd, or 3rd to unlock the achievement.
