How to unlock the Practice makes perfect achievement in F1 2010 - Definitive Guide

This can be completed in either Career or Grand Prix Mode.

Step 1
-Set the Race Participation Level to Long Race Weekend.

Step 2
-You must set a time in ALL 3 Practice Sessions. After the first 2 sessions are complete you will be the given the option to continue. Simply continue onto the 3rd Practice Session and set a time.

Step 3
-After you have set your time for the 3rd Practice Session DO NOT Skip ahead to the Qualifying. However, you can absolutely fast forward the session time. After the Practice Session is complete (the time expires) the achievement will unlock.

Note
-After you set a lap time, you can leave the practice session from the pause menu. However, you must choose to return to the garage to save your progress and continue. If you choose to return to the Paddock your progress will be lost and you won't get credit for the session.

Make sure you have at least one lap with a time. Then you can skip to the next round of practice (option right to the engineer). Don't make the same mistake like I did, to take the engineeroption "go to paddock". If you choose this it will not unlock.

Ah, so I chose the wrong option (retire to paddock). I'll try again next time I play, cheers. :)

Go on to Career.

Select the next race and set it to LONG RACE WEEKEND as this will give you the full 3 practice sessions.

It will start at practice 1, just set a time and skip to practice 2 and then skip to practice 3 after you have set a time in practice 2.

Set a time in the 3rd session and fast-forward until you get to the end of the session and the achievement is yours!

Pretty simple, you have to select long weekend and set a time in each of the three practice sessions to get this trophy. This one may be glitched as several people have reported that it hasn't unlocked 1st time round for them.

This can be done in either Career or Grand Prix mode. "Long Race Weekend" must be selected. Post a legitimate time (do not cut corners) then accelerate time by returning to the garage and choosing the first option on screen. Press twice to increase the speed to 30x. Do this for each session.

We choose a long racing weekend. It is necessary to do at least a circle in each of the three training sessions. You may not get the achievement if you clicked on automatic transition to the next session.
