AI Difficulty: Amateur

B button out and set the Weather Setting to Clear and then hit continue.

Select Montreal as the track and start the Race

You will be starting in 4th but that’s actually perfect, because as soon as the race starts you want to cut the grass on the left hand side and make it into 1st place.

Don't be too greedy when you cut the grass or it will DQ you. As it's right at the start of the race you can restart if you need to.

This will trigger a Drive Thru penalty for illegal overtaking, so get round the lap and pit straight away, depending on your lap time you should exit the pits anywhere from 2nd onwards.

Now get into 1st and set some good times, don’t cut the track to avoid getting more penalties and keep pumping in the laps.

After a number of laps it will tell you to pit, but ignore this and just keep racing, you don't need to as there is no tyre wear, after another couple of laps (lap 9 for me) you should find that as you pass the start/finish line you will pass cars in the pits, and then during the next lap pass the remaining cars to trigger the Blue Flag achievement.

Once you have that, it will pop straight away, pit and change tyres, when you come out it’s time to slow right down and let the driver in 2nd place overtake you.

Follow them round the track, you can slipstream them to get some time towards the following

F1 2011SlingshotThe Slingshot achievement in F1 2011 worth 22 pointsSpend a total of 10 minutes slipstreaming your opponents in any game mode

Keep lapping until you get into the final lap, pass the guy and move into first and finish then finish the race in first.

It will pop the achievements individually, so don’t worry when only one pops at first.

So there you go 1 race and 3 achievements

ai on easy , skip all practise/qualify go straight to the race, u will start last , now just make your way through to second place and stay there until your on the last lap, then overtake.

This is a good solution, but also want to point out that the final lap doesn't have to be the first time you're in first. I was racing to get the Blue Flag achievement and was well in first. Right before the last lap, I slowed down on the track to let the second place racer take the lead going into the last lap. I easily overtook him and won and the achievement still popped.

Another piece of information... I finished 1st after taking the lead on the final lap but had a 10 second penalty which demoted me down to 5th and the achievement still popped.

This is one that can be combined with at least a couple other trophies, such as "Blue Flag" & "Slap on the Wrist" to save yourself some time. For this specific trophy you just need set the distance of any race to 20% and take 1st place on the last lap of the race before going on to win. I'd set the AI difficulty to the easiest so as long as you are close behind the car in first for the last lap, you should have plenty of chance to overtake.

There are two potential ways of doing this - either boosting the achievement with at least one friend in an online Custom Grand Prix mode or you trying to get it in Grand Prix or Career mode with a 24-car grid of AI cars.

The easiest way of course would be to set up a Custom Grand Prix of 20% or more race distance, invite at least one friend, let him lead the race until the last lap and then overtake him to win the race.

If you are willing to do it in Grand Prix or Career mode, make sure to set the A.I. difficulty to Amateur and stay behind the leading car for the duration of the Grand Prix. As soon as you start your last lap, go for the overtake - with the A.I. difficulty level set to Amateur, you should not have problems overtaking the leader.
