Select Grand Prix from the Main Menu. Choose Monte Carlo as the circuit. Proceed from Q1 through Q3 with all driving aids ON and make sure you secure pole position. BEFORE you quit out of Q3 (while you are still on the track), and AFTER you are sure you will win pole position, switch all Driving Aids to OFF and switch to Manual gears. You will not be able to do so when the race starts. The A.I is so slow at Monte Carlo that you should not have any problem winning from pole position even if you are not used to Manual controls.
