Q - Where do I bet?

A - IT DOESN'T MATTER!

the 'chieve is for winning the jackpot on a "JACKPOT" keystone table. i.e. getting a 3 (1,1,1) or 18 (6,6,6) on your 1st roll.

It doesn't matter what bets you made as long as one of these two combinations comes on your 1st roll.

You don't even need to have a bet on either the 3 or the 18, just on a single outside bet (any number) to allow you to roll the dice.

Best idea is to place a bet between 8 & 13, then you still have a better than average chance of winning something for your bet if (when) the jackpot doesn't hit.

Q - how long/how many rolls will it take?

A - Impossible to tell, but statistically it should take no more than 108 rolls, probability-wise you should have it after approximately 72 rolls

Reason for this - stats - there are 216 combinations of 3 dice. 2 of these are what you are looking for - 216/2 = 108.

Reason 2 - probability - it probably won't take you the full half of the rolls (108) to hit either 3 or 18 & is equally as unlikely to take 216 rolls before you hit the other one, however - although statistics is an exact science probability is not, so although it is likely you will hit these roughly 1/3 & 2/3 of the way through (so 1/3 is the bit you're really interested in as that is what will give you the jackpot & pop the ach) it can (& will) vary massively from person to person.

Q - Why does the game keep teasing me w 1,1,x/6,6,x but never gives me 1,1,1/6,6,6

A - Stats again - there are 30 combos of 1,1,x & 6,6,x but only 2 of 1,1,1 & 6,6,6 i.e. 1,1,2/1,2,1/2,1,1/1,1,3/1,3,1/3,1,1... ...6,6,5/6,5,6/5,6,6

so you are 15 times more likely to see one of these than one of the 2 that you need.

Q - the game says I get better odds @ higher stake tables - will this make it easier to get?

A - NO! - you get better win odds i.e. more return for your bet. You do not get better statistical odds on the dice rolled as they are fixed, you can play any jackpot keystone table with the same chance of popping this ach.

When playing keystone three dice are rolled. If it rolls three 1's or three 6's on the first roll of the round you get the jackpot win.


Start up the free tournament and place your bet, then roll. if you don't get it, back out and start again. Annoying achievement to get for most people. Took me maybe 6 hours, but this way you don't lose anything.

Doesn't matter where your bet('s) are placed as long as the jackpot is triggered. Thanks for the clarification on this.

Keystone.
You will need 3 ones or 3 sixes on the ( first roll) of the dice. Also you will have to put an outside bet on either one. I put an inside bet on 3 ones and won and of course didn't get the achievement.

What happens is if you have an outside bet on 3 or 18 and the first roll is 3 or 18 the game ends and if you had an outside bet on them numbers its a Jackpot.

Anyway not trying to contradict the other solution i just thought a few might want to know exactly what they are trying to do as i didn't fully understand.

Also i found that if you play higher stakes games your chances seem to improve but that could just be in my head LOL ...

Incidentally if you want to unlock all the keystone games towards unlocking all games then try this for speed.

Right bumper will put the max bet on and so you max out all your outside bets. The inside just click right bumper and a maxed bet will go on everything inside. If you have lots of cash this is the quickest method to unlocking all the keystones games. Oh and of course borrow lots of cash at the opening of each game.
This can be done whilst trying to get No Stone Unturned.

This just in and i guess this is true.

You don't have to put a bet on the 3 or the 18. You will win the jackpot just by rolling a 3 or an 18 on your 1st roll, regardless of where you place you arch bet(s), as long as you are playing on a jackpot table.

Just posting this for those of you that have a turbo controller. You can set up any keystone game, and turbo the A & X buttons. For the jackpot to hit, you can place your bet on ANY number (inside or out), which my default was outside bet 10. If you just started playing keystone, you may want to be present for the first hour or so. You may get a notification about new tables, and if you turbo B as well, you game may freeze up!!! I did this method overnight, with no luck at all! So i keep trying for hours at a time while i sleep/work/ect

So just keep playing your games, and pray that a combo of 1-1-1 or 6-6-6 comes out on your FIRST ROLL of a new game and you will hit the jackpot, as well as the achievement!

For this achievement you need to roll a 3 or 18 on your first roll of a game of Keystone. There is no way to guarantee to get this achievement quickly as the process is entirely random. Just start a match of Keystone and if you dont get an 18 just leave the game(remembering to pay any debt) and try again until you get a 3 or 18. Can take a while to get.
