Fade to Silence

First you need to craft a bow, for this you will need to select the crafting menu when sitting at a fire, the ingredients required are 2 fiber, (crafted from one grub root, a plant that you can find just outside the base), and 1 pristine wood, (obtained from stashes in the Flats or by chopping down a tree, which will require an axe). Once crafted, equip the bow by selecting it in your inventory and holding .

The arrows also require crafting from firewood, (collectible on the floor in the flats), and then equipping, select the arrows in your inventory and equip by holding .

As you travel across the wasteland of The Flats you will be prompted of nearby resource nodes by a message in the bottom left corner of the screen. One of these nodes will be a Hunting Ground with a picture of a deer head. When this message pops up hold down the to activate your vision and scan for a deer, it will be highlighted yellow.

You draw the bow with and fire with . Holding beforehand will make you adopt a stealthy crouch, though I couldn't get much closer with this, and you stand up once you draw the bow anyway. One hit will make the deer run off so I recommend keeping it in sight. It will eventually start to hobble and you can shoot it again. This both kills the deer and activates the node for your followers to hunt there.

Run up to the body and press to skin and then pick up the meat, pristine remains and tainted remains for your achievement.
