How to unlock the Emir achievement in Faery: Legends of Avalon - Definitive Guide

There are 7 quests becides the main quests that needs to be done.

1.Help Badr Al-Dine: Find him in the poor district. Look for the blue hair on the Scarabeid and bring it back to him.

2.Help Dounyazade: She can be found in the poor district. Look for palm trees around the rich district.

3.Help Ibrahim: He is in the poor district. Find the potions around the rich district.

4.Help Abu Hassam: He is located in the poor district. Go at the back of the Scarabeid to find the rokhs. Once you get the hair, go back to see him.

5.Help Doubane: You can find him in the poor district. He is looking for a job. Talk to Al Chamandal in th highest part of the city to find him a gardener job.

6.An archeology mission: Chughopper is looking for vases. Go to the tomb in the ghouls' lair to get them.

7.The husband of Morgiana: Morgiana, in the rich district, is looking for her husband. Talk to Sinbad who saw him in the high district. Ask Al Chamandal about it and then Ali. It is him. Go back to Morgiana and make your choice.

I can't get the stupid fucking vase quest to work; there is no section with mummies to fight whatsoever, and the only room in the tomb with vases has nothing to interact with. I damn sure don't want to have to restart after 10 hours for one dumb quest.

Good solution. The Morgiana's husband one was a little glitchy for me. I had to finish all the story missions before I could get Sinbad to talk about him.

It appears that if you choose to engage in battle with Ibrahim, Dounyazade & Badr Al-Dine then you will be able to bypass their side-quests for this achievement. I fought them and was unable to speak with them until after completing the main quest for Scarabaeid, even after which they would not give me their sidequests.

For me, during the final main (story) quest, I had to place the wind traps on the walls before I finish Morgiana's Husband side quest (which is my last side quest to do for this achievement).

A similar problem here, I had to be close to the end first before she even appeared and then had to get right to the end of Scarabaeid bar the last conversation with the Sphinx before Sinbad would talk about her. Got there in the end though :)

Did you kill the Genie first? The (different) room with the mummies did not appear for me until -after- I killed (beat) the genie. He then talks to you; then on the way out there is a new set of rooms that appears with different monsters culminating with the mummies. That is where the vase is. So, 1) Kill Ifrit. 2) Kill genie. 3) Kill mummies. 4) Get vase.

MISSABLE

There are Side quest that are missable and if you progress through the main quest too far, they will become non-obtainable and marked with an X so others will not show up.

There are missable quests in the world of the Scarabaeid (last world). When you are given the quest called Communication Problem, make sure you help all those that want your help. There are three inhabitants in the lower/poor district (underneath the rich district, view the map ) that would like your help at that time; the other two after you have saved the Peri weaver. They are only missable if you decide to fight the inhabitants in the lower/poor district.

An archaeology mission
Given by: Chughopper
Questline

  • Collect the vases from the tomb
  • Give the vases to Chughopper, the antique dealer

Hint: The tomb you are looking for is in the back of the Scarabaeid. When inside, go left at the first junction and defeat the mummies.

Help Douban
Given by: Douban
Missable Quest
Questline

  • Question inhabitants of the rich district
  • Go back and see Douban

Hint: The guy you are looking for stands next to a small field.

The husband of Morgiana
Given by: Morgiana
Questline

  • Investigate into the husband's disappearance
  • Report on your investigation to Morgiana

Hint: The husband is located in the rich district of the town, next to a house.

Help Abu Hassan
Given by: Abu Hassan
Missable Quest
Questline

  • Free the well from the tegumenary hair of the baby rokhs
  • Go back and see Abu Hassan

Hint: Fly to the back of the Scarabaeid and you will see the rokhs floating in the air. Defeat them and go back and see Abu Hassan.

All quests in this location are quite simple, difficulty can only arise with the quest given by Morgiana, she asks you to find her husband, you must first talk to Sinbad, then with Al Chamandal, and then with Ali. Return to Morgiana and the quest is ready.
