By now, I bet you have realized how much fun these boss battles really, REALLY are.
So, for the Candy Witch, first thing you need to do is just run up and punch her when you have the chance. Once you hit her enough, she will fly away in a circle. She then sets herself up in the middle of the screen outside the circle. She's going to set off two shockwaves (jump over them) and then try to land on you. Keep moving to keep her from landing on you.
Once she misses you, hit her until she lands in the fire.
Repeat this for the second and third round. In the second round, there will be four shockwaves, and in the third there will be six. They are all spaced evenly, so just get comfortable.
In the third round, after dodging the shockwaves, get the witch to land as closely as possible to the center (where the fire is). The flame only appears for a few seconds in the third round, so if she does not land directly on it, you pretty much only have one well aimed shot to get her there.

This is the second part of the end of Chapter 7. Avoid her transformation attempts and attack her until she flies away. She'll come back and send out transformation shockwaves. Stay to the side and jump over them. She'll then fly and chase you. Run around near the middle and she'll land near the fire. Push or hit her into the fire. She'll chase you while on fire, so run. Repeat this process to the end of the fight.
