How to unlock the What a Beauty! achievement in FIFA 09 - Definitive Guide

the easiest way for me to pull off volleys is to pass it, holding LB and press Y the player should do a lobbed through pass and hopefully you have a player getting the ball. as soon as the player is about to get it you have to kick it if it bounces it wont count as a volley no more so you have to get it in the air.

Just keep playing the game and this will come naturally. You need to score on the volley, which is where you lift you leg into the air to kick the ball. It's just chance when this happens, so just make sure your in a good position to shoot then press B. Keep trying and you'll get it eventually.

This is another tricky one because there is really no way to get it every time. All I can say is to run down the wing with one of your players and cross it into the box, from then shoot normally or double tap . Try to get a lot of distance onto your cross so it can reach the player without it bouncing.

A volley is when you shoot without letting the ball hit the ground, in other words, in mid-air. The easiest way to perform a volley is to cross the ball into the box, and double tap when facing towards the goal. The ball MUST hit the back of the net before hitting the ground.
