There are a variety of different tournaments available to you throughout the game, both online and offline. All you need to do is win 25 of these tournaments overall.

You CAN win the same tournament multiple times. Thanks SUpREEM 08.

The easiest way to get this achievement is to play (and win) the Amateur Cup 25 times. Thanks DeviSlator.

To find out how many tournaments you have won, return to the main menu of FIFA:UT. At the top-right of the screen, there is a 'Trophies Won' statistic. Alternatively, you can enter 'My FIFA:UT' to see individual trophies won.

Team chemistry does not matter, although there are often restrictions on player quality, nationality, etc.

I suggest playing with the lowest ranking team as possible to get the largest multiplayer bonus possible - this may not be feasible against more difficult opponents. Different trophies will be given a different star ranking - this ranking tells you what difficulty the games will be. For example, 1 star = Amateur, 2 stars = Semi Pro, etc.

Try to max out in the following areas:
Goals - 5 = 200 coins
Shots on target - 10 = 50 coins
Tackles - 25 = 25 coins
Corners - 10 = 50 coins
Clean Sheet = 25 coins
Passing - 80% = 80 coins
Possession - 60% = 60 coins
MOTM = 10 coins

Completing all of the above objectives will reward you with 500 coins.

Also avoid Goals against (-25), Fouls (-1), Yellow Cards (-5), Red Cards (-15), Offsides (-1)

EDIT: As far as I'm aware, there are no longer featured tournaments, and so gaining coins is now much more difficult.
