How to unlock the Good Week! achievement in FIFA 11 - Definitive Guide

Create a New season in Career mode as a Player.

Pick a good club and a good player in that club. I went for D. Drogba at Chelsea.

Make sure you put the difficulty on Professional or harder

When you get to the Career menu go to Calendar. Use the triggers to switch the month to May 2011. Go to May 31st, Press A and select to Sim until then..

While you are simming you should get the Player of the Week cheevo before half the season is over.

You can stop the simming when you get the achievement by simply pressing B :)


Sometimes you'll be kicked off the EA servers due to loading times. Go back to the Main Menu, and select the bottom option: Sign In to EA Servers.. once you are singed in the Record Holder cheevo should pop as well (if you don't have it already :D)

I did it following your guide but with Leo Messi at Barcelona, and received the achievement in August... within about a minute of starting... then I could turn game off quicker! :D

The best way to do this is to sim a season(go onto calendar and go to end of season, then press A). When simming the season you should act as a good player, and this achievement will be easy.

Another way to do this without simulating is to pick Chelsea or Manchester united and play the community shield game. If you play well you should be in the team of the week .

not really because the game will take 15-20 mins. So you probably could simulate faster.

In Career Mode, every league will put out a weekly best team, the best 11 players ranked by position. The first time you make this team, you will receive this trophy. You can get this easily while simulating your season as a goalie in the Career Mode. With a maxed out goalie, you should get this many times during the season. Just keep simming the games one month at a time.
