The Non-Boosting Way:
1. Go onto Head-to-Head Ranked match
2. Pick a weaker team than your opponent(Less Stars)
3. Draw the match
3. Select Extra Time.
P.S. If the opponent selects 'End match as a draw' then you will have to repeat all steps because the match will not go to extra time.
The Boosting Way:
1. Invite your friend to a Ranked Match
2. Pick a weaker team than your opponent(Less Stars)
3. No nothing in the match
4. Select Extra Time
5. Be kind and repeat steps for friend.

Firstly - Pick a team with a less star rating than your opponents, For instance YOU - 4 star team THEM - 5 star team, then just make sure by the end of the match you need to be drawing with your opponent say 0 - 0 for example. Then the match will go into extra time and the achievement will unlock.

Cannot be earned since Servers have closed. This one can be tricky if you are trying for it specifically. First off, pick a team that is at least a half star less than your opponent's team. I found the easiest way to force a game into extra time was to take and hold a one goal lead. That gives you room to manoeuvre if your opponent scores. If you try to hold it at say 0-0, a goal from your opponent will leave you scrambling to level the score. But if you are one up, it's not such a big deal.
Hold your lead until the 90th minute. When you reach the last few minutes, pass back to your goalie and score an own goal. Time it right and it's on to extra time. (Your opponent has to agree to go to extra time of course.) Play away from here and after the match ends, win or lose, you will receive the trophy.
