How to unlock the Record Holder achievement in FIFA 11 - Definitive Guide

I read CheetahCurtis' solution, and it helped. But no one mentioned that it does usually pop once you exit the career and return to the main menu. I simmed two seasons, then exited as I was going to work, and what do you know - POP!

So I could have 'earned' it whenever through two seasons. I played as Man Utd and had had my VP in there.

Just go on Career Mode, you can do this on any difficulty although it does say Pro or harder, and play a few games. I think Simming works but you might as well just play a few games.


You must be connected to the EA servers for a record to be sent to the EA server, so you must be connected to EA servers for the achievement.

Update: since the servers for this game are now shut down, the leaderboards are down too. That is why this achievement is partially discontinued. The only way to get it now is with the glitch. See this thread:

For information about the glitch. To summarize it, you need to be playing Be a Pro Goalkeeper as your virtual pro, with fully manual settings, then tap the cn_A button in the highlights after the game. The glitch is when the game freezes at this point and sometimes randomly awards achievements.

I've left my previous solution below (no longer works but included for posterity).

ty i got the achievement today just now funny i did one season saved it simmed the next one left six games on schedule turned servers on and it popped right away without finishing 2cnd season record was 74 and 6 wow

follow pezza888 method but heres a lil extra help if needed just to add to his method choose mexico america the team is the best in its league by far u can sim both seasons season has a short schedule easy teams i got my acheivement second season 7 games before season ended it pops after u exit season ty pezza888 method was great all credit goes to him... ps u dont have to play any games ..

I don't know how / why the achievement popped for me but I have played a mixture of Amateur & Semi-Pro matches, and this popped after an Amateur match. So I think this might pop no matter what the difficulty. It didn't pop when I simmed on Amateur or Semi-Pro, so may pop sooner using the prev guide...

You can find the Career Leaderboard in the main menu. Scroll though it using the , , and buttons. You can get on it by earning money or silverware while playing in Career Mode. It's not that difficult to make it.

To do it quickly, I picked the Red Bulls (MLS) goalie and maxed out his stats. By then simulating the first season, I got this in about ten minutes. Even though it said that picking a Customized Roster would disqualify me from the Leaderboards, it didn't.

This trophy won't pop until you exit Career Mode and go to the Main Menu. Also, you have to be connected to the EA Servers to get this. You have to be on the top 10 on your friends list. If your friends are high up there, delete them and then re-add them after you get the trophy.

You should have no problem with this if even if you play through the Career normally.
