I had picked Man City for career mode as they had a ridiculous amount of money to spend on your squad.

The highest ranking player is Ageuro on 86.

I then put a bid in for £95 million for Cristiano Ronaldo as his overall is 90.

Bid was accepted, I then offered £300k a week with a 10% bonus for each goal scored on a 3 year deal and he accepted.

Achievement popped after. Hope this helps.

before you do this take note of the following info:
1) you want to pick a 1 star team because the players are rated 70 or below, and signing a player rated 70+ will be cheaper and easier.
2) if you pick a 5 star team it will be more expensive and harder to sign someone who is better than the team.
3) i tell you to sim through a whole season to get more money. but is up to you.
4) this guide might be long but it works i promise, this is how i did it.

start a career as a player/manager. pick Adelaide United from the Austrailian League. Pick create a player instead of virtual pro. make him a GK and make all his stats to 99. scroll down to calender on the menu. when your on the callender change months by pressing RT. scroll to FEB and press A on the last day. the calender is going to stop several times just keep pressing A on FEB. keep doing this until there is no more games to be played for that season. after this season you should of won the league giving you more money. At the begginning of the 2nd season, go to calender and this time sim to where there is a clock(its an icon, its the last day of the transfer window). in the box. when you get to that day go to transfer in the menu then press "Buy players".on the submit search enter this info:
position-ANY
Role-Any
Primary Atribbute-Overall
Min. Attribute value-70
Max Atribute value-75
then press START.
alot of players are going to come up pick one that is rated 75 and is cheap and offer money. i would go 3-4 more thousand dollars than what is there. after this press A. this will send the offer to the club. go back to the main menu and press ADVANCE. time will pass and you will get a message from the team. the message will either say they accepted the offer or they didnt. if they didnt, offer more money and press advance again. they will eventually accept and you will get a new message saying they accepted. open the message and it will take you to a screen where you deicde if you want to accept. scroll(left stick) to yes and the achievement should unlock.

I started as Man City. You need a player rated 89 or higher. Only a few players are that high. Vidic (Man United) and Casillas (Real Madrid) are both rated 89. I bid 70 million each for them and then offered them 400k a week with 20% bonuses on a 5 year contract. Managed to get both that way. Seems the easiest way really.

I started with ajax.
The best players are ericksen and verthongen(both 80).
at the begin of the season i bought landon donovan(81)
It was not much efford and got the chiev fast.

Easiest Way:

Use a Team with a half star one of the Irish League. The Players are all aroung 55. There are a many Players for free with a rating of 60 so you have to pay nothing for them and they always change to your team.

the achievement can't be done easier...

i got this by going Chelsea and selling Torresand then putting in a bid of 45 million for David Villa....it was accepted and voila....BLOOOOOOP achievement unlocked

Pick Man City, offer 100m for Ronaldo, bid should get accepted and then offer 300k in wages. Achievement should oughta pop.

My currency difficulty was on amateur (126m if I remember rightly).
