FINAL FANTASY IX

Stellazzio coins can be collected throughout the game and returned to Queen Stella in the North of Treno; she will reward you for each one returned. You don't need to speak to Queen Stella to start this quest and can collect many of the coins before you first go to Treno in Disc 2.

Each Stellazzio is named after a sign from the Zodiac. None of the coins are missable and you can go back and collect any of them once you have access to the Invincible in Disc 4. Most coins are found on the ground so look for the ! field icon when in the right location to find them.

The locations of each coin are listed below, in the order that you can find them:

Aries - In the ground floor of Dali's windmill, in the back of the room behind the crankshaft (Disc 1).

Cancer - Behind an overturned cart on the left of the second screen of Burmecia (Disc 1).

Scorpio - In Quan's Dwelling, slide down the large rope towards the back of the room and search towards the bottom of the screen down by the springs (Disc 2).

Gemini - In Treno's entrance, throw 10 Gil into the fountain on the left hand side of the screen 13 consecutive times (Disc 2)

Taurus - In Treno’s slum district, behind the item shop’s stand on the back right corner (Disc 2).

Virgo - In the Black Mage Village’s inn, at the bottom of the ladder next to the bunk beds. In between the ladder and the decorative chest.(Disc 2).

Libra - Behind the fountain in Madain Sari. Just behind the broken portion of the fountain(Disc 2).

Leo - In the back right corner of the room near the Neptune Statue (the one with the glowing red trident) in Alexandria Castle (Disc 3).

Sagittarius - On the left edge of the screen at the bottom of the grey machine with a pipe coming out of it. Left of the Gysahl Pickle cart in Lindblum's Business District (Disc 3).

Aquarius - Behind the middle pillar on the right in the entrance to Ipsen's Castle (Disc 3).

Capricorn - In Daguerreo's entrance, at the dead end of the canal on the right (Disc 3).

Pisces - Aboard the Invincible, in the treasure chest left of the warp pad (Disc 4).

Ophiuchus - Return to Queen Stella after collecting all 12 coins above. She will return them to you and ask you to find the 13th and final coin, using the clues on each coin. Return to Quan's Dwelling and the exact spot where you found Scorpio and you will now find the Ophiuchus coin (Disc 4).

Returning each coin will result in a reward from Queen Stella. After 10 coins, you will receive the Earning the Queen's Favour trophy.
