How to unlock the Corel's Angel achievement in FINAL FANTASY VII - Definitive Guide

Not so much a guide just a bit of help and advice.

You have to wait till you progress into the game and get to Golden Saucer.

Go to Wonder square and up the stairs on the right, then the bike arcade game is in the 2nd room at the back.

Basically with this you have to defend the car, like what you had to do earlier in the game.

I got it on my second go so it's not very difficult, every time the bikes bump your car you lose points so just stay back and try to hit them off before they even reach the car.

My tactic was to try and mainly hit to one side. I drove on the left and swung right also hitting right at the same time. Hope this helps :)

If you leave negative feed back please let me know why and be helpful :)

Nothing worse than an achievement that has nothing to do with the main game.

Many attempts and can’t do it. Camera angels are shit. Will have to come back later on in the game.
Edit: Don’t it. Need timing and luck.

Glad you got it, it was tricky but with a few attempts it’s not to hard, just keep faith :)

Just in case you're playing with cheats on, don't do it for this. I forgot I had 3X speed on and scored 2350 my first time. 2nd time turned that cheat off and got 15,850 wink

Interestingly the achievement popped for me after my first attempt with a score of 10,045.... 5pts short of the target score

Adding to Sniped's comment, I'll add that it's much better to use the D-pad for this game than the left-stick. When using the left-stick, I'd accidentally click it many times and turn on 3x speed. When I switched to D-pad, it was a huge boost to my score.

I popped this about 6 days ago, got it on my 2nd try, the D-pad is essential and important to make precise attacks and movement, I ended up getting a score of 15,800! :3

Absolutely hated this achievement. Took me countless tries and when I finally got it, roared with joy!!! For me it was luck as I just could not get a handle (lol) on the controls. Would have preferred a Chocobo related achievement instead, like win 100 races or something.

Ramming the bikes helped me because it helps slow them down so they don't do damage saving your points.

This is a tricky achievement but ramming the bikes is good advice, especially the red ones which tend to dodge your attacks more.
If you can time your knocks off the bikes as well you might knock an additional biker down in the process if they run through the accident scene, you can score 2 easy bikers here if you're lucky!
It tends to happen more if you knock bikers down on the inside of bends.

I was naturally good at this minigame in the PS1 era and used this game to grind GP at the gold saucer so I got this first time, if you can consistently hit this score then you get 10GP each time you play.

First try 4500, second try 17800, haha. Just ram them when you see them and pick em off one by one.

Puffro, I feel you bro. Why make B left and X right attacks when surely it should be the other way around. Messes with my head...

Helpful tip that screwed me the first time: Make sure that you have 3x speed turned OFF!

Managed to get 11,600 third try. Key takeaway advice:

- Use your bike to damage the enemies by ramming them
- Don't let a bike get in front of the friendly vehicle or it will do massive point damage when it goes down
- Focus on one enemy at a time and try to down them in front of other enemies for multikills

The G-Bike mini-game is also found at the Gold Saucer and is a repeat of the bike chase from earlier in the game. You will need to protect a truck by fighting off bikers. You gain 500 points when you defeat a biker (and can chain them together if you knock one down and he hits another), and you lose 50 points if they hit the truck. This shouldn't take much practice to accomplish, it's not overly difficult (I think I got it on my third attempt). However, you can repeat it as many times as you'd like for 200Gil each try. I'd suggest turning off the 3x speed boost when you try this to have more time to react to the bikers.

The G-Bike mini-game at the Gold Saucer can be located in the Wonder Square, and is a replication of the Midgar Highway bike chase from early in the game. The mini-game costs 200 gil to play. In this mini-game, just like during the bike chase, Cloud must ride his motorcycle and protect the truck from enemy bikers by attacking them with his sword. In order to obtain this trophy, you must win the mini-game by scoring 10,050 points or more.

To move Cloud around on his motorcycle, use . Press to attack right and to attack left. There are two types of enemies that attack: orange bikers and red bikers. Orange bikers attack the truck blindly, whereas red bikers attempt to draw you away from the truck by getting close and then braking when you approach them. Defeating an enemy biker yields 500 points, and 50 points are lost every time an enemy hits the truck.

Obtaining 10,050 points is not explicitly difficult. Many different strategies can be used, including whacking an enemy biker in front of another one and letting the second one trip over the first, allowing you to rack up more points without having to swing your sword, but sometimes the best strategy is just to hack and slash. Even if you can’t come up with 10,050 points on your first try, keep practicing and it will become a breeze after enough tries.
