This Achievement is MISSABLE


After you've defeated the Red Dragon boss in the Temple of the Ancients, the materia lay direct on the ground in front of you.

DON'T leave the Materia there. Make sure you pick it up BEFORE YOU trigger the Pyramid object on the right side of the screen. A cut-scene will play and the materia is lost.

You can obtain the Bahamut Materia at the end sequence of the Temple of the Ancients (on the map straight SOUTH of Junon).

After you've defeated the Red Dragon boss, the materia can be found on the ground right in front of you. So make sure you pick it up BEFORE YOU trigger the scene with the black materia (pyramid object) to the right. Double check the room before leaving via the exit through the left (after Cait Sith's scene).

Note: Once completed everything and Cait Sith did his job, you cannot return, and will have to start a second playthrough to get this materia.

This achievement is missable, but only if you're careless. The Bahamut materia is dropped by the Red Dragon boss in the Ancient Temple (Page 21 of the Jegged walkthrough). However, it is literally dropped, on the ground, after the battle is over. You simply need to pick it up afterward to unlock the achievement. If you walk away without it, you will miss the materia and the achievement.

MISSABLE

The Bahamut Materia is located towards the end of the Temple of the Ancients. Once the Red Dragon is defeated, the Materia can be found on the ground. Do not forget to pick it up before completing the Temple of the Ancients. Once completed, you cannot return, and will have to start a second playthrough to get this Materia.
