'Tracers' are the small triangle enemies that project trajectory lines around the stage before zooming from point to point. You can kill these by using your attack (
). While, if you are fast enough, you can kill these guys as they zoom at you, it is easier to be on the opposite side of a wall and hit the attack button when they reach the point on the other side.
