How to unlock the Elimination Master achievement in For Honor - Definitive Guide
Since this is 80% teamwork there's not a perfect solution. Be aware that you can set your parameters in the death match playlist to prioritize matching you up with this game type specifically.
Beyond that, the best advice I can offer is to win the fight against your starting opponent as fast as possible with an execution so they cannot be revived. Then find another teammate and gank the opposing team one at a time. Cheap, dishonorable...but effective.
Definitely go out of your way for powerups. The shield basically gives you a second life bar.
Don't ignore down teammates, either...even if you are winning with 3v1, a match can be turned around by a skilled player. Better to have the maximum 4 players if possible.

An additional tactic is when you start the match, already be looking away from your opponent and run away towards another closer fight. You can stab the other allies opponent and help him win quick. Make sure you do this quickly as you are leading your opponent to them which if your ally was loosing, makes for a quick 2v1 against you. But if successful, it decreases your enemies DPS, and quickly shifts the scales of the battle.

Does anyone still play this game? I’m from Aus and I can’t find a skirmish or elimination match at all. So if there are any players who play this game consistently and are from a country where your servers aren’t dead, I’d appreciate the help with this.

Currently, there are really few players playing this mode, so you can easily boost the 20 wins with friends: build 2 teams of 4 player each, choose Elimination as preference in the "deathmatch" menu (it is sufficient if it's done by the leader of each team) and then start searching for a match at the same time.
If the leaders of the two teams are from the same country, this will increase a lot the possibility for the matchmaking.
Important: if a team finds a random match, DON'T QUIT and finish the game, otherwise you will have to wait 15 minutes for penalty.

An Elimination match is a 4v4 match where the first team to win 3 rounds out 5 wins the match. All players start in separate corners of the map, paired off with an opponent, making this a big 5 Duels match.
As the other trophies this is all about having a good team to play, but one strategy could be this: once the match starts, ignore the rival in front of you and run to help another ally, both can kill a rival faster and keep working as a team.
Keep playing this mode until the trophy pops. You can track your progress here.
