You'll make progress on this achievement each time you get the "Savior" bonus in a PvP match. (It will appear in the ticker at the bottom left along with your other accolades.)
The savior bonus requires you to kill an enemy who is engaged with a teammate who is at low health (you're teammate's health bar will be flashing).
Dominion and Skirmish are likely the best gametypes to work on this.
Not sure about whether or not the enemy must be locked on to the friendly when you kill them / how team fights affect this.

Low health is when they are flashing.

Best advice I can give is wait until the opponent is attacking your friend and their health starts flashing. Now everytime the enemy tries to attack, throw an attack at them to interrupt their attack. Since they're attacking your friend, they can't block you. I usually played as a Warden, and one or 2 top heavies would kill them. Most people will try to finish off your low health friend, so it's rare you will draw their attention to your attacks

This is another tricky trophy to get and needs attention. Saving an ally isn’t pressing when he is down - that's reviving, NOT saving.
To really save an ally, you need to watch him closely. If you see his health bar shinning and blinking red, he is in danger to be killed and you need to save him. Quickly run and face his enemy and kill him before he can kill your ally. If you do this properly you will see on the screen Savior Kill +5 Renown which counts as one save. If the enemy kills your ally and then you kill him it won’t count. If your ally kills the enemy instead you it won’t count.
For further reference here is a video showing it.

Those saves count when you kill an enemy attacking your ally. You will receive a bonus to fame "Savior" +10 points.

When a follower is fighting, the orange/blue shield above them may flash red. This means that he has almost no health. By killing his enemy you will receive "Savior" fame points as stated above.
