How to unlock the Like Killing Ants achievement in For Honor - Definitive Guide

This is done easiest in Dominion mode (either player vs AI or PVP). Soldiers are the smaller AI enemies that fight in the B objective. Should take quite a few games but simple none-the-less.

Edit: Soldiers in the campaign count towards this as well.

Campaign soldiers count towards this as well, FYI. It's any soldiers, anywhere in the game.

Thanks! Hadn't tried the campaign yet to know. Updated it though.

There are certain parts where enemy spawns seem infinite, I'm going to try and nail a method down.

Instead of fighting in Objective B, you can run towards the enemy AI spawn and the soldiers willl just keep spawning once you kill them off. Unlocked the achievement yesterday was getting 200 or so kills a match doing this. dance

On mission 1.2 when you get the objective to capture A,B and C the enemies spawn infinitely, no need for playing multiple games.

If anyone doesn't want to do this in the tutorial area, Knight level 6 is much better than the Viking one to do this. After protecting the ram, there is a part where enemies endlessly come down from a small cliff, and it's both quicker and better for earning XP compared to the Viking solution.

The tutorial is much faster in general for kills, but combining this with the XP makes it the best for hitting level 30 and getting the 5000 kills out of the way simultaneously.

To grind this out you can play the Viking campaign part 6 during this you keep fighting soldiers if I'm not sure if they stop spawning if they do back out and restart hope this helps

Agreed, this is where I did most of mine. When you are asked to "Take out the archers" just run straight ahead to the end of the bridge where there is an infinite spawn of enemy's. I just used the light attack (RB) to speed things up. Positive vote from me.

A FAST method that you can also get a lot of XP from is on Knight's 2nd mission ( 1.2 And Stay Out). First push the vikings back and then run to the middle of the battlefield where there are lots of soldiers fighting and capture the first 2 objectives which will push back the vikings into the perfect area. Find the ballista to the right of the battlefield if you are looking at it from the gate you pushed the vikings out of and just start shooting! You can either just spam the rt button and watch youtube or try and aim for the soldiers which makes it go faster. DO NOT kill the archers as they will let more of your minions spawn in and kill minions which you could have killed. Personally it took me about 2-3 hours and it took me from level 20 to level 26 which just shows how good it is for the soldiers and XP method. Not as fast as the tutorial, but if you're trying to kill 2 birds with one stone then this is the method.

Very easy trophy but might take you a while to get. Single player and multiplayer count for this. It's strongly recommended that you leave this trophy for the end, but if you need or want to farm the kills faster you can do it in any Dominion PvP or PvI which is the fastest way to do it. Take in mind that you can kill maybe 100 soldiers in a single match so the grind will be huge.

Also you can try this trophy in Advance Practice playing with the Lawbringer, if you have it unlocked. Watch this video for more information.

Can be completed during a network game, since they periodically give orders to kill 300, 400 soldiers. Two birds with one stone)

The fastest way to kill them is in the Territory Capture game mode: we focus on destroying soldiers/minions (at points where they always arrive in groups) throughout the game. Ignore the goal of the game and opponents.
As a result, you can farm a minimum of 100 and a maximum of 200 soldiers/minions in one game (but it all depends.
If you take the minimum average number of kills per game (that is, a hundred), then you will need 50-60 battles (50x100=5000), and if you take the maximum - 25-30 battles (25x200=5000).
BUT! It all DEPENDS. You may need to fight more, perhaps not; perhaps you will meet a camper who will disturb you; perhaps your allies will also exterminate soldiers/minions, but perhaps not.
So all this is random, and my calculation is not accurate.
In any case, on the way to opening this trophy, you can open the “Look What I Can Do!” trophy, in which you need to open all 4 ability icons in 50 battles by farming points on soldiers/minions.

The easiest way to do it is during Training. It is during an ordinary Training, when you are ordered to recapture point B, killing soldiers, continue to mow them down, drive them out to the spawn point and just stand there and chop.
If this is the last trophy before Platinum, then this is the best option, because you are immortal and have infinite stamina.
