You're On Fire!

Get 5 Kill Streaks of 5 kills in Elimination or Skirmish in PvP.

4.8%

How to unlock the You're On Fire! achievement in For Honor - Definitive Guide

In order to earn this achievement, you must earn Five streaks of Five kills in PVP in Elimination or Skirmish, the two deathmatch modes. The five streaks can be done in multiple matches but you must do 5 kills in one match without dying to progress on this cheevo. This means you CANNOT earn this in the following:

-Player vs AI
-Dominion or Brawl modes

It takes a lot of practice and a little bit of luck, because if you happen to be ganged up on, you're as good as dead. It's also worth noting that they must be kills, and CANNOT be assists. Unfortunately they show up as Takedowns on leaderboards, so just track it through the Achievement tracker and make sure it comes up "Your gamertag killed opponent" on the bottom left screen, otherwise it won't count. My advice would be to:

-Always attempt this in Skirmish. Elimination rounds were too short to me, and you can be partnered against a skilled player who may take you out. You can set a preferred match type in the menu and although not 100%, you can often get put straight into Skirmish
-If you start to take damage, run to the hills. If you look in the minimap icon in the corner, you can see icons which give boosts. Look for a health icon, but make sure it is white and not hollowed otherwise it'll be useless. Other players may give chase, just utilise sprint and dodge to avoid them.
-Character choice will make the difference, and make sure you upgrade your gear, level up your character a bit and find the best one for you. Nothing is worse than going into a battle with an underequipped character who you're unsure how to use.
-Make sure you learn the combat system, if you aren't blocking, parrying and countering properly then human players will make mince meat out of you.
-You can also vote for a map after every match and you can vote for a skirmish match to ensure you get that mode.

It took me a few games to earn this legitimately, so patience and perseverance is needed. I'm not sure if it's boostable, but if so then I recommend you find other players to do it.

Thanks to iVale and RagingXero for offering extra tips which Ive added to the guide

Dumb question perhaps, but do these five kill streaks all need to be done in a single match? I would assume not.

Just wanted to make a note that kills aren't the same as takedowns. The score screen cn_back tracks takedowns, which includes both kills and kill assists. For this achievement make sure you're getting killing blows and watch the chat feed to see if you got credited the kill or not.

Have added both points about whether it needs to be in a single match and making sure they are kills and not assists, cheers for the feedback smile

It's also worth noting, at the end of a match on the ready screen where you deal with the war assets, you can vote on the next map and mode. Most people don't vote so it's easy to repeat Skirmish which is hands down, the easiest mode to get this achievement.

Just got this tonight. it took me about 2 hours altogether. I did all mine with kensei in elimination. Play smart and use the power-ups to your advantage. I was level 7 when I got my first streak of 5 and level 10 when I got my fifth. Keep in mind this is probably much easier at a lower level and in a lower skill bracket.

I don't have my 5 yet but am finding elimination to be easier because kills count across rounds. Won my initial duel. Then ran in and scored 2 more kills (killing blow for sure). Next round won initial duel. Then scored another kill. Got whooped the rest of the match, but my initial 5 counted.

also like to add it helps if the enemys team isnt full that way you have bots that are easier to gang up on..also makes it easier to run away..not sure if bots count but i went from 0-40% in 1 match (meaning i got 5 killstreak twice) and pretty sure i killed a lot of bots..just a heads up

I looked out for the killing blows and I'm 100% sure that I had 5-6 killing blows without dying, my progress tracker is still stuck on the same % that I had before I started playing today.

Anyone else having issues with this or is this bugged or something?

I would happily boost this with a group. We'd need 8 total as the playlist is dead. Message me on xbox! (Flaymex).

Hello! I recently did this with the Nobushi. As SteadySphere says, this should be attempted on Skirmish. Learn the Nobushi moves very good, stay away and attack with the long range moves that she has (mostly did lots lof light attack combos). If you are low RUN, this champion can RUN. Also, the feats that do DMG help a lot (second, third and the fourth->arrow storm to kill maybe a batch of enemies). Also, pickups are helpful (shield and attack)

You need to get 5 kills in a row without dying, in a single match, and then repeat it in another 5 matches (they don’t need to be in a row). Make sure you are playing PvP Elimination or PvP Skirmish because if you are trying it in PvP Dominion or against bots you will be wasting your time.

The recommended mode is trying on Skirmish, here are some tips to get it:

  • Try to get your first kill as soon as the match starts
  • If your health is below 20-30% or so don’t think it twice and run away, go to any health circle in the floor around the map and return to the fight.
  • Avoid at all cost 1v2 situations or even worst 1v3.
  • Always stay with another ally and see if you both can fight against one enemy at the time.
  • Once again, run if you get into troubles, it’s possible you win some specific duels but be smart before facing the next one.

There are two ways to know how many kills in a row you have made in the match: looking the score and if you see 5+ kills with 0 deaths. Or if you see your name getting the label Unstoppable. If either of these things happens you can be sure you have done it right. Just finish the match at your own pace and make sure you reach the final results screen to get the proper credit and the game can save your progress.

Repeat another 4 times in different matches and the trophy will pop in-match at the end of the last 5 kill-streak you get.

This video shows using Raider playing Elimination.

as it is written in the trophy - you need to complete 5 kills in a row, without dying. Kills are counted specifically, not assists (you need to be more careful - in statistics they are displayed as one number). It's easier to do in skirmish mode, destruction will be more difficult.

We take a berserker, learn how to play with it, and while it’s awesome, we quickly hit five kills five times without dying.

You can still be like a “rat”. We run around the map, collect buffs, heal and attack mainly the wounded and run away again/

This mode is not played as often anymore, so it is more difficult to find a game in it. So I recommend completing trophies with these two modes first.

Levels where you can jump down on players really help, one successful jump = 1 corpse!
You also need to be able to use the skills of a bow, a trap, a hail of arrows, etc.
The most difficult trophy in the game.

After 5 kills without deaths (without assists), the inscription appears as in the name of the trophy. Your nickname is “Unstoppable Warrior”, if there was no inscription, there was a support kill in the kills))

I knocked out the trophy, thanks to the team, you need three people who can hold out until you kill your opponent and quickly run to your opponent, and so you take turns helping everyone, my brother knocked out the trophy for me, since he plays for Kensei and quickly kills his opponents , we just swapped accounts so, look for friends and exchange accounts to knock him out, the rest of the trophies are easy)

The trophy is cumulative, it will drop automatically, you just need to sit longer in these modes, I fell in destruction.

The comrade above wrote complete nonsense!!!
Just get a 5 kill streak without dying. I completed this streak in elimination mode in 3 rounds of one game. There is NO NEED to do this in 5 games, one successful entry is enough.

That's right, it can be completed in one go, because every five kills without deaths count. Theoretically, if you make 25-0 the trophy should fall out immediately =)

It looks like the hint above is not correct. One of the players on my team made 5 kills in a row in one game, and 20 kills in a row in the second - they didn’t give me a trophy. Got it only after 3 more episodes of 5 kills with deaths in between
(the murders were just that: murders)
