How to unlock the The end of our journey achievement in From Dust - Definitive Guide

As the achievement says, you just need to complete the Movements level, which is the second to last one.

The easiest way i have found to finish this level is to go for the Evaporate totem first, so as to eliminate your flooding problem. Following that, grab the 'Repel lava and fire' stone, and just expand as you see fit. Shouldn't be that challenging after you get that set up.

Ok this board is very hard this is how I did it after 3 hours. I suggest getting the vegetation later for achievment your purpose should be just beating this board the first time. OK.

make sure to keep at least 1-2 water plants safely somewhere throught game.

First off get to the evaporation totem. when you start off place the bomb plants 4-6 to the left of the lava before it starts so your lava will mainly run that way and give your guys a chance to get to the evaporation totem. build there then get the lava repel (its essential) Use the evaporate whenever you even see water. remember this or you will be sorry.

While your doing this you have to manage the lava I suggest building a wall 2 stacks high behind the infinite earth totem AS WELL as the Jellify water totem. do this throughout whole level and use sparingly elsewhere if needed.

The 2nd totem you want to get now is the amplify breath totem.

OK DO NOT I repeat DO NOT grab a 3rd totem UNTIL the fire repel shaman is on your amplify totem as a 3rd totem starts the crater being extremely active with lava lol.

Once your shammy is at the amplify totem run to the Jellify totem. (This is where the wall behind the island comes in play once u get 3rd totem all "lava" breaks loose) plant 1-2 water cactus here.

while your men are running to make that totem a village go to the inifinte dust totem. as soon as you see the water totem is made a village call your peeps to the dust totem because this is cutting it very close. (this is where the wall behind the INFINITE dust totem comes into play)

If you did this right youll be able to make it out in the nick of time.

Points to remember that are essential following my guide.

Wall of lava 2 stacks high behind infinite dust AND jellify totems. Read it twice if you have to lol.

Do not let water get in the volcanoe it risks destroying the power totem later.

Save often lol.

Story related and cannot be missed. Movements is the 12th level. This will unlock shortly after you guide your tribe to the exit.

Movements is the most complex and difficult level in the game, by far. Everything up until now will seem pretty simple by comparison.

As soon as you begin, direct the tribe to the first totem and start moving the water trees away from the village. It’s the only way your tribe won’t drown immediately. I recommend zooming out with so that your cursor moves much faster. After moving out the water trees, grab the explosive trees from the rim of the crater and start placing them around the volcano to start to build a channel that will direct the lava away from all of the villages. If by some chance that your village doesn't survive the flood, then restart. Alternatively, you can make a break for the Evaporate totem on the far side of the volcano. If you can get there, then use the Evaporate power as soon as the rains start.

Either way, your next goal is the same, get to the Repel Lava/Fire stone and bring it back to whichever village you started at. If you placed your first village at the Evaporate totem, then you have further to go. No matter what though, you will have to build a small bridge using the lava to reach the stone. Reaching the other totems is simply a matter of building bridges and connecting them together.

This level is very frantic though as the water will continually build up because of the rains. Well timed uses of Evaporate may be necessary to keep your villages from drowning. Taking advantage of Amplify Breath and building up walls and channels to keep the lava away from your villages is also necessary.

At a certain point in the level, there will be a bit of surprise and lava will come from more directions than just the center vent. To prepare for this, build up walls around your villages, being careful not to burn the villages down, to keep the lava out.

Another method that you can use is to go straight for the Infinite Earth totem and use that power to build up the land underneath the villages to make them high enough that the water and lava won't have much of an effect on them. Combining Infinite Earth with Amplify Breath will make this process much quicker and get your villages out of danger that much faster.

Complete the penultimate 12th level of the game Movements. The level is quite complex: the totems are located in the mouth of a huge active volcano, it is raining, due to which the water level constantly rises (i.e., with each rain, there will be less and less land available to you) and lava from the middle of the erupting volcano covers most of the territory . The tactics for passing are simple: first, we drive our people to the Evaporate totem and remove all the water on the map. Then we immediately send them to build a village to the Infinity Earth totem and quickly pour in earth to raise the soil level as high as possible. At the same time, it is advisable to send a person to the other end of the island for anti-volcano protection as soon as possible. Next we build the Amptify the Breath totem, which allows you to increase the amount of land produced. After building three villages along the edges of the volcano, a bunch of additional erupting volcanoes will wake up, so it is better to build villages away from the edges and plant aquatic plants in these places. After three or four rains, the lava will be extinguished and it will be possible to freely build new land to achieve 100% greening.

Alternative tactics. The first step is to establish a village at the nearest Amplify the Breath totem and use sand from the edges of the caldera to make a bridge to the lava protection relic. Don’t worry, the village will survive the first flood after the rain; there is no need to raise it. In the meantime, your natives are running to found a village - drag all the water-bearing trees somewhere to the edge of the map to protect them from unexpected flows of water. While time is running out before the first eruption, place exploding trees on the northwestern slope of the volcano, this way we will give him a repeat of St. Helens and provide ourselves with time to establish a village at the Evaporate totem. Of course, use Amplify the Breath on the lava to build up the volcano on the northeast side. Ideally, lava should flow north, west, and south. Once the village at the Evaporate totem is established and protected, you can relax. We set up a village near Infinite Earth, and when the lava erupts along the edges of the caldera, we use endless sand to make mounds, diverting the flows to the edge of the map, so that, again, the shaman has time to drag the lava protection totem there. When it starts to rain, we just turn on Evaporate.
