How to unlock the Master Agent achievement in G-Force - Definitive Guide

Okay this one is a bugger. And Ill go ahead and give a few recomendations for making sure you get this one.

Make sure, as stated before never buy anything except the upgrades, and you must collect all of the silver disks and gold disks, the excellent guide by erod550 can be found here:
http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=16...

Only play when you have the energy to play. If not it is much easier to get very restless and antsy and miss some chips. SO if you find yourself getting groggy, go play something else for a time.

The driving mission are imperative to increasing your total chip count. Try to destroy all boxes in each of these missions and collect around 1000 in each.

Make a save at the FBI rooftop and helipad as that is a good spot to go back and make sure you get all possible chips if you come up a few short.

The part you have to destroy the core in the power generator level has an unlimited spawn of radios, if you are not to concerned about the accuracy achievement, you can sit at the entrance and kill them till you run out of ammo at the entrance to the area, making sure they do not fall into the abyss when they die.

You have to start the final level with all previopus upgrades bought and at least 800, otherwise it is impossible or highly improbable that you could get to the 1300 needed for the final two upgrades.

So I do leave you with a good luck and good hunting.

Wow, I found pretty much all the currency, fought all the enemies, didn't buy any health or ammo, and I ended up being 23 short, that's how damn close this is.

Luckily I had my save from right before the last 2 Silver Discs, and went back to that, and didn't buy the maps, and I was able to get it.

So basically, there's only a couple hundred extra chips in the entire game(I bought all the maps), after buying all the upgrades.

I've never seen that in a game before.

As said before you need to explore everywhere - Take your time and you should be ok - Searching every room top to bottom -. It took me 3 playthroughs just going for this achievement - This was only after a friend told me about being able to "farm" chips from the fire extinguishers - This is a good idea to do everytime you come across one, but be warned - After a certain amount of chips / time, they stop respawning. So its an idea to use it for what you need then keep killing it over and over. Im adding the collectible video i made as in order to obtain "Master Agent" you need to collect all of the collectibles in order to upgrade them

Even if you collect every chip in the game, you will still need to conserve to be able to buy everything. Try to avoid spending chips on health and ammo if you can help it and just rely on picking up power-ups for those. It really adds up in cost if you buy these things at the kiosks, which takes away money that could be used on upgrades.

ok this achievement is annoying but their is a way to make it a cake walk.

ok. their is a mission in the game where you have to rescue blaster.
all you have to do is kill all the enemy's on ure way to open the elevator for blaster. but do not open the elevator instead let blaster dye and when u respawn u still have all the chips u collected. just repeat this process intill you get at least 15.000 chips. then just collect the rest of the chips and discs as u play through the game. simple.

I do not take credit for this method. as I found it on youtube. just thought I would share what I found on ta.

good luck with your achievement.

I am on the second level, and Blaster is stuck inside an elevator that I need to rescue him from. There are only 150 chips in this area and when Blaster dies it uses one of your lives. No way you could get 15,000 here. Unless this is the wrong area or I'm not understanding something; downvote.

I slowly played through half of the game, meticulously searching out every chip, and my achievement for 50% of the silver disks unlocked one late, meaning I somehow missed one. I restarted the game and decided to keep grinding in this area to see what happens.

To further explain for anyone else that stumbles upon this solution (I could not find the video mentioned). After you use all 10 continues, instead of giving you a normal Game Over the game continues loading the same checkpoint, restoring all your extra lives and keeping chip count, allowing you to keep accumulating.

Changed vote to positive.

This is one of the hardest trophies in the game. You need to be very thorough and search everywhere. Always send Mooch up into vents you can't reach, check up on the hanging lights in rooms, try not to skip any areas. For instance there is an area where Speckles will tell you he thinks he knows a shortcut, and if you choose not to go that way the door will not open when you come back and you will not be able to get the chips from the enemies and boxes in that area when you come back.

There are chips in boxes in the training level, don't miss those.

Make sure you kill every enemy, don't skip any. This includes the satellite dishes that just block your path with a red wall and every enemy that drops chips. The only one that doesn't drop chips is the small spiders that slow you down. If you kill an enemy that is far away send Mooch to grab the chips or try to pull it in by holding R1.

Sometimes when you die and there are chips you haven't collected from enemies they will not be there when you respwn. I'm not sure but this only happened sometimes, so just be careful to try to always grab chips as soon as you beat an enemy even if you're still in the middle of a fight.

*Here is an alternative way to getting the Master Agent trophy. Thanks to Roughdawg4 for submitting this tip:

"I noticed in my Super Agent game that when I used plasma like crazy, it dropped plasma. So I thought, what if I didn't use any guns and only my whip so my ammo was always full. Well since I don't use ammo (most of the time), I get nothing but chip drops. I should easily have 40,000 by the end of the game and no extra farming is necessary, just try to kill everything with your whip.

These are the only things I didn't kill with my whip (forgive me I don't know names):
The Fans
The machine with the shield and laser
And the 2 big flying machines (one shoots projectiles and the other missles).
Everything else use your whip. And remember you have 10 lives on easy mode so you can afford to die a few times."

One note if you do decide to go this way: Make sure that you are extra careful when you do use your guns as you should be going for the 80% accuracy trophy also, and if you are mostly using your whip you will need to be extra careful to miss as few shots as possible with your guns. Remember, 80% is 8 out 10 shots that need to hit, so you do need to be as careful as possible.

Trophy is easy to miss

To unlock all the upgrades you will need all the silver discs, their location can be found in the kiosk at the beginning of each level

not always after the assembly level of the washing machine you need to take the disk at the very top, i.e. find it visually because the card cannot be bought

In total, you need to collect 36,150 chips. To get the trophy you will need to buy all the weapons and their upgrades (For example: Cassette rifle v2). Improve Mooch's transmitter several times. Buy an increase in ammunition for all weapons and pump up the health of Mooch and Darwin to the maximum.

The trophy is very difficult, in addition to the fact that you need to collect all the silver disks, it is necessary that by the end of the game you have enough money (chips) somewhere around 23,000, this taking into account the fact that you have already purchased all the weapons and health improvements. In order to To collect such an amount, you cannot buy anything additional in the store (ammo, cards, health). I didn’t buy and I barely had enough food, that is, by the end of the game I came up with 23,0000 and after all the improvements I had 800 left. This is taking into account the fact that I collected all the chips and killed all the enemies. If you don’t do this, you may not get the trophy from for not having enough money and it is given almost at the end of the game.
